Elena and Agusto were exceptional. They they kept the rooms and common areas spotless. Our room was very comfortable and the outside decks were very useful for snacks and drinks and lounging. We were well away from the crowds in town and had a beautiful view.

We loved our stay in Villino Sofia with it's private roof terrace. Things that made the accommodation perfect for us: -Fridge and small kitchen area was great for preparing breakfast and storing food -location is set in a gorgeous garden and feels very private, with amazing views, yet you are just 2 minutes from the station and 5 minutes from the harbour -the staff who met us were super friendly and welcoming -because the room is set in a garden it feels much more like an apartment not just a room. -beach towels, guide books and snacks provided made it feel extra special We would stay here again without hesitation!

Everything about this place was wonderful. Elena and Gusto were very helpful and welcoming to ensure everything with our stay went well. The space was perfect for a couple. It has a large bathroom which was nice to spread out in. Incredible view and amenities. The bes was very comfortable and the shower had great pressure. Right on the hiking trail and a quick walk to the train. Overall we loved it!

We liked everything! Nothing bad to say at all. But I'll note some things that may be helpful- the stairs up to the place may not be for everyone. It was not strenuous, it's just a good amount of them. But carrying luggage up may be tricky, luckily there's usually someone around to offer help, as Elena's husband did for us! Also the kitchen area is a shared space. Also not a problem, but good to know. :)

The location was perfect! Great view, great deck, right next to train station, away from the crowds, and close to the best restaurant in Vernazza. Elena was an excellent communicator, and was sweet to decorate our room with goodies for our honeymoon! The walk up to the room passes cute gardens with flowers that smell so pretty.

Room was more than I anticipated. It was very clean, quaint room with local personal touches, good shower pressure, large bathroom, great location, beautiful view. Relaxing on patio every evening was a treat, especially smelling the honeysuckle & all the flowers in bloom. Elena very helpful & gave us wonderful dinner suggestions

There was nothing we did not like about the property

The property was an amazing location only a few minute walk to the train station and five minutes to bars and restaurants. The staff was amazing. Elena was so nice and easy to resolve situations if they arose.

Pretty easy to hear your neighbors, but not the partying kind of people, so any noise wasn't very late.

Nice little property on the hill overlooking Vernazza. The room was on the small side but well-appointed with a very nice bathroom. Several outdoor seating areas to take in the nature and view. It's a bit of a climb from the train station, but that's the case for just about any place in town with a view and the hosts here meet you to help with your luggage at check-in. We loved our time in Vernazza!

Everything was fine but if I have to pick something it would be that if you are in a suite that shares a wall you may hear your neighbor if they are loud talkers.

The location on the side of the hill over looking Vernazza and the water with motion in the background. Within minutes to city center or other dining locations. The owner and Elena were excellent communicators and really care about their guests. We loved we were litter located in a small lemon tree grove. If you want to feel the classic mountain/sea side living experience. This it. Very unique arrangement which made it a lot of fun staying. Not a run of the mill rental. Bed comfy and room extremely clean and neat. The shared patios are awesome for relaxing. Also there are some steps but owner goes over and beyond to help with luggage from train station. This a very cool little location off the main tourist activities too.

Elena and her husband are so available to answer questions and assist! They met us near the train station and even carried my suitcase up the large flight of stairs leading to the property. Elena helped me make a reservation at a local restaurant since I did not have calling capability and even sent me a WhatsApp message on the day of our departure to let us know there was a railway strike! Truly over and above!

Unfortunately, it rained for three days and our dehumidifier/air conditioner was not working and the room got very humid. The gas in Italy gets turned off from April 8 to October so most heaters are not working.

Shower was awesome!! Sofia 1. Don’t be scared of the stairs and the location as most places are the same in town. Umbrellas and poles to use for guests. Elena met us with her husband and carried bags.

I think we thought we were booking an apartment, though we knew the kitchen area would be shared. But in fact, there is nowhere to cook. Just a fridge and kettle. No washing machine.

Elena met us at the train station and had also sent a whattapp to help us get there. She was extremely helpful and hospitable. We loved the location, the sun decks, and access to a fridge and kettle.

Our favorite hotel on our trip to Italy! Rooms are so cute and quaint and beds are comfortable. The views from the shared patio are unbelievable and it’s such a comfortable place to hang out and take in the view. Perfect location, on the trail to Corniglia and just down the street from the main road in town and the beach. Great value and wonderful experience, hosts were lovely!

Our stay in Guiliano's villino Sofia was unforgettable. Waking up with birds chirping and at night you can hear the frogs crocking. It's like you are living in paradise. The Villino was super clean and comfortable. Elena and Guiliano are the best hosts you can wish for. The view was beautiful and the sunset from the terrace is so spectacular. Thanks Elena and Guiliano and thanks for meeting us at the station to help us with the bags. You are the best.

Accessibility was a surprise. Plus the vue of the garbage behind the police station, although not your fault, was not inviting.

The work of masonry was spectacular. The place was very clean and Helena was an excellent hostess.

Between the two smaller rooms is a paper thin wall. So you can literally hear your neighbours conversation. I would ask next time for the separate suite or the bigger room.

Caretakers Elena and husband are the best you can ask for. Very friendly and helpful. Bonus was the extra space with fridge, free water, coffee, tea and cakes. The terraces and the view are wonderful.
