Marco is a friendly host that accompanied us from the Vaporetto stop to the flat. The flat is excellent for anybody that wants to visit "La Biennale di Venezia" as it is situated in between the two major locations: the Giardini and the Arsenale. Only minutes away, like 6 to Giardini and 4 to Arsenale. The Vaporetto is only nine minutes!

Great host. Very helpful, informative and welcoming. Marco contacted us and gave us his WhatsApp number as soon as we booked. He gave very helpful advice on all of the local attractions, where to eat, and how to get around Venice. The apartment was in a great neighbourhood. There was a local bakery, supermarket and lots of places to eat. It was only a 15 minute walk, very pleasant walk to the main attractions. The apartment was very clean and had all of the facilities needed to ensure a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location. Plenty of grocery shops, bakeries, good value restaurants. There is a beautiful garden very near. Neighbourhood is save and very peaceful, but it is only 15 minutes walk from the St Marco Piazza! Apartment is comfortable and cozy, with all appliances required for a 1-2 weeks stay, stocked with coffee, tea, etc. Host (Marco) is really nice, very helpful and easygoing. 10/10.

Marco is a fantastic host and we had a fantastic time staying at his property. The facilities are clean and well-stocked, the location is very convenient and Marco is incredibly responsive to any messages throughout the stay (including giving some great recommendations). I cannot recommend staying here enough - if you are coming to Venice, stay with Marco!

Nothing. Especially we spent 2 extra days in Venice afterwards in a different location and we appreciated even more some items we took for granted like the luggage locker that Marco lets you use for free after checkout, and the bin collection which he will take care for you at the end or during your stay (in Venice the bin collection is a bit different).

We loved our stay here. Marco is a wonderful host who was available for any question from the day we booked the flat. He gave us very good hints for reaching the flat , and even met us at the vaporetto stop. The flat was perfect, comfy bed / sofa bed, well equipped kitchen and lots of attention to detail. I was a bit worried the flat was not very central to explore Venice but on the contrary it was a great location: close to vaporetto stop and also by foot to the main locations, and the Castello area is not so touristic so you find better options for cafes, restaurants etc

Beautiful and very cozy place. It was clean, and had all you need in there. It is well located, near the objectives, but also has the privacy you need. There are 2 minimarkets just a few feet, which is really helpful. The host was very nice, available for all our needs. The price was fair. We recomand this place if you visit Venice.

The apartment has a very nice location between Canal Rio della Tana and via Garibaldi. It is calm, clean, designed with taste and fully corresponds to the photos. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including coffee and small items for breakfast, for those who wish. The apartment is air-conditioned, in the living room there is a huge TV that can be connected to a telephone. The bathroom is clean, beautifully arranged, with constant hot water, only the shower cabin is a bit narrow. There is also a washing machine, which is an advantage for longer stays. There are tall and steep stairs that may be difficult for people with reduced mobility. The neighborhood is far from Santa Lucia Train Station, but it is calm, beautiful and close to restaurants and attractions such as the Biennale, the Arsenal, the Garibaldi Park, etc. On via Garibaldi, a minute from the apartment, there is a large supermarket, Italian deli shop, many bakeries, pastry shops, prosciutteria, bars and restaurants.

It's impossible to not like anything.. IT IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT PLACE TO STAY!

This place exceeded my expectations.. ive travelled to so many countries but there's no host like MARCO.. The apartment is clean, perfect and with all the necessary facilities.. and the most perfect HOST.. who kept checking on us if we need anything.. he was extremely helpful and honest.. please go according to his food/shopping recommendations.. it will not be heavy on your pocket and will totally be worth it.. I left my jacket at a restaurant when I went for dinner and next day was my train in the morning since I had to leave.. Marco went out of his way came early to get my jacket from the restaurant when the restaurant hadnt even opened just so i dont leave my jacket behind.. my family and I were so thankful to him for all his help.. he is even honest about what is fake when shopping and where we shouldn't spend our money unnecessarily.. he keeps all the essentials in the apartment so you need not get anything from outside.. again I repeat the best host we've had.. when you are in venice you must stay here and believe me you won't regret it..

The whole stay was a success: Marco's place had an amazing location (short walk to San Marco), with lots of nice restaurants and bakeries. The flat itself was absolutely stunning, and felt really cosy and personal, like a real home away from home. But beyond all of this, what made our trip so special is the warm welcome and availability of our host: Marco walked us to the flat from the boat, gave us a comprehensive overview of the area and tips on the best things to see and do in Venice. He also made sure to let us know which tourist pitfalls to avoid, showed us all the amenities in the flat and was always very reactive on WhatsApp for anything. We would 100% recommend staying at Marco's place, and would absolutely stay there again if visiting Venice again in the future :)

Marco was an amazing host! He was extremely helpful explaining how to use the Vaporetto (the water bus) before even meeting him then he met us at the stop to walk us to the apartment (and helped carry our luggage like a true gentleman). Marco is a very proud Venetian and took time to recommend local sites, restaurants etc that would feel like more of an authentic experience. We were able to visit the tourist areas but the highlight of our trip was the time we spent in the neighborhood of the apartment - we truly felt like we were living amongst the locals! The apartment itself was beautiful from the decor to the history you can feel when are there. It is also well equipped with everything you need and then some (including a very efficient air conditioning system -which we needed!). When you open the shutters, you get to take in conversations amongst the neighbours as they hang laundry outside their windows. We highly recommend this apartment and Marco as an amazing host!

The apartment was lovely, and in a great location in Castello away from the more touristy areas. The place was well furnished, with good facilities (including washing machine, which was very handy) and TVs set up with Chromecast. Mario was very friendly and helpful, and gave some great recommendations for our stay.

The best thing about the whole place, with out a doubt is the host. Marco is the best host we have ever had in all of our trips around the world. Besides, he has a really beautiful place in Venecia where we stayed, with great amenities and really good location. There was no street or outside sounds at night, the beds and pillows are really good, the place was super clean and he had constant comunication with us from the moment we arrived up until our departure. With out a doubt, this is the best place anybody can stay in this beautiful city. 100/10 - best place in Vencia

The accommodation was absolutely great. The apartment is equipped with absolutely everything you could need. It is a short distance from the center and at the same time in a quiet part and you just walk out of the short streat and everything is there. The owner is friendly and gives great tips in Venice. I definitely recommend this accommodation for any length of stay.
