My partner and I recently did a trip to Lake Como where we had the pleasure to stay at Albergo Diffuso Cà Spiga, Laglio It was a great experience staying at Albergo Diffuso Cà Spiga, where the owners, Alessandro and Cinzia who took care of the B&B went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The place is fantastic, breakfast was excellent and the service impeccable. Our bedroom view of the lake was superb. We definitely recommend the place.

Hard to get to with car. Once you figure it out, it's OK. Steep walk to lake and town, but ok. Can use town beach, not on water, but that's the life style here.Park your car in private car for 10 eu per day.

Felt like a private residence. Beautiful restored house with magnificent views of lake. Private garden. Hot tub. Great Italian breakfast overlooking the lake. Alesandro and Andrea great hosts. Great family feeling here. Will go back.

A little bit difficult to find, a lot of stairs to get to the hotel from the lake.

Clean, amazing views, a lot of unique facilities (jacuzzi, wine cellar under the hotel where you can take wine, breakfast on the terrace and more..). Host was very welcoming and friendly. Loved Laglio - cute little town, beautiful views.

The steps! I know you can't move your facility but the steps to get to it are a killer.

I can't remember the lady's name who ran the Inn and was so helpful. Without a doubt she made the entire stay over the top with her constant concern for our needs. The view from the patio was breath taking. It made the journey to find your place worth it.

We were very happy with everything.

Everything was perfect, the bed was comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean and serviced daily. Breakfast was delicious with a number of local cheeses, fresh bread, eggs made to order and fabulous coffee. The best thing about breakfast was Alessandro's home made apple tart, best I have ever had. The location is great with beautiful views of the lake. We sat on the terrace each evening and had a picnic dinner. Car parking is not available at the accommodation but there is free parking quite close. The area felt safe and we had no problems leaving the car on the street overnight. Many others also park on the street overnight. We were able to drive the car close to unload the luggage. Alessandro met us and assisted with getting our bags to the B&B. There are stairs, which were not a problem for us and we are not super fit, 58 and 60 year old. Anyone with mobility problems might struggle. The family story behind the building makes it very interesting and we enjoyed hearing it and having a tour. I would love to return one day and absolutely recommend this accommodation to others.

Gorgeous interior styling with such careful attention to detail which made it feel like we were staying in a real home on Como. The room we stayed in was big and had an amazing view of the lake. The heating was excellent, as was the breakfast provided which included local meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries. We used the jacuzzi on our first night which was the perfect way to relax after a day of travel. Alessandro was an exceptional host as was his staff member Cinzia. I was so sad to leave!

Very charming place, rustical and with small details that gives a special touch. At the time of our staying we had all space for ourselves! Great view at lake Como from the terrace of our room. Breakfast is rich and fresh local products. Cinzia was really helpful!

The property is difficult to find, but the host was very helpful with that so no problem. Parking is fairly far away, but this is understandable as the property is in the maze of the old town.

A wonderful old house in the old center. The building has real character. The host is really friendly and nice! He even came down to the street to help us find the property. The breakfast was super with real fresh pressed orange juice!

Slippers in the rooms as the tiled floors are cold in winter - literally trying to find something that could be better as it was so great.

A beautiful hotel, the pictures do not do the place justice! We stayed at Christmas and the staff were so helpful and welcoming. Views are amazing and the facilities are perfect, will be going back for sure.

Ca'Spiga was wonderful in every way. It is located in a lovely location a few minutes walk up some stairs from the main road with beautiful views of the lake from their terrace and from the bedrooms. They are such great communicators and met me at the bus to show me how to get to the hotel when I first arrived. The hotel is beautifully renovated - like a museum showcasing the origins of the house but with modern comforts. Breakfast is expansive and delicious - and coffee is especially good. The owners are very present, and invested in caring for their guests. It is a family run place, and they also run a small wine bar down the road that is wonderful. I can't wait to visit again.

The property is in Laglio, which is a charming and beautiful town. It is not nearby to the major towns that I’m sure you will be visiting, such as Menaggio, Varenna, and Bellagio. Those three towns are connected by ferry ports for easy access to one another. To get there from Laglio, you must first take the bus to Menaggio.

The property was absolutely gorgeous! The perfect place to stay in Lake Como. Oscar and Alessandro were so helpful and hands on with the guests the entire time. Ca Spiga is even more beautiful in person!

- Access is a bit tough. Buses are really unreliable in Como and getting to the bus stops is a bit dangerous. The roads have no walkway so you're at arm length with speeding cars - Beds are charming but make a lot of noise

- Staff is very friendly and welcoming - Breakfast is very good - It's super clean - The whole house is old but restored incredibly well. Good use of space and amenities (even a jaccuzi!) - The view is incredible, you have breakfast looking over the lake - You can leave your bags for a while after checking out
