The lighting in the living area and main bedroom was very dim.

The property was very large and in a fabulous location. The canal view was beautiful.

Bedroom and bathroom doors can't be lock especially the bathroom. People can just open. Had an argument because of this. Rooms are ok for family but not with friends. The design of rooms are hard to choose because they will fight for it.

Location is convenient all within 15mins walk.

The linen in one bed was dirty with stains. The cutlery was used and wasn't washed. I wrote to the owner but didn't get the response. We were told to keep the windows closed for our safety because the apartment was robbed lately.

The location is wonderful, 5 min to Piazza San Marco. The apartment is two-storey. One bedroom is on the first floor, two other bedrooms on the second floor. Every bedroom has its bathroom.

I am an elderly women using a walking stick & had a terrible time finding the appartment! The address given by booking .com was vague and my familym & I walked for about 2 hours trying to find the property. We were lucky that a friendly Ukraine lady heard my family speaking Polish which she understood. She stopped to help. rang another phone number I had & was told to go to a hotel to check in. WHY COULDN'T THIS HAVE BEEN ON THE INSTRUCTIONS. the front door was very hard to lock & we were only given 1 key for a groujp of 5 people.

When we eventually got into the property we found it to be comfortable & convenient.

Needs a really good cleaning! Mold in downstairs shower is out of hand (most should come off with a good scrub!). Upstairs bathrooms are pretty decent but could still use a good cleaning. There’s a strong sewage smell downstairs any time water is run (showers/tubs & toilets flush) or tub is drained. Very unpleasant. Door doesn’t easily open and shut, but not horrible. Socket downstairs had exposed wiring as it was hanging off the wall. **BEWARE, pictures are of who knows which rental! Our 3 bedroom looked nothing like that! If mold overgrowth and sewage smell weren’t there, I would’ve gave this place a better rating. It is a good location and has potential to be great!

The place was very poorly maintained and very tatty - The bedrooms were very spacious and comfy however the shower head was held together with a bag tie it was thick with dust underneath the beds and the kitchen had no washing up bowl or proper hob. ( just a plug-in two-ring hob There were not enough facilities for 6 people unless you eat out. Also not the property's fault but building work going on right overhead from 8 am until 5 pm each day. So this meant that a lie-in was impossible

Because of the old house, it need some more detailed cleaning.

Τhe location was great! Really central and very easy to reach! The personel that we found to give us the keys were very friendly and helpuf! We stayed at the appartment with 3 bedrooms,3 bathrooms. It is very spacious, you can stay there 3 couples very easy, Each bedroom had its bathroom. The only thing that was minus (That didn't bother indeed for the good price we got) is that the house need some renovation (for example the door has a difficulty to close/open). And the cleaning could be better. Otherwise, we would stay there again for sure!

I find it hard to believe that people have been complaining about the front door in these reviews for years and we still had the same issue. the place is showing real signs of needing renovation but I could handle that since it’s very well priced. and this isn’t really an issue with the property but we had a weird guy come to the door twice to ask for money for a key because he had locked himself out of his apartment- obviously some harmless scammer but don’t answer the door!

We were not happy at all looking at the building. Entrance door and hall were terrifying , Really in poor condition.

Location was great as well as the size of the apartment for 8 adults. We only missed the microwave in the kitchen. In short, we felt well.

With a little investment, the apartment could really be first-rate. The principal weaknesses were the quality of the mattresses, the lack of kitchen equipment, and the sporadic internet due to sketchy electrical wiring. We didn't regret the non-working TV. I tried all of the beds to choose my room, but they are equally uncomfortable. The kitchen has a gas stove, but a non-working spark and nary a match in sight. The electric kettle functioned, but the toaster was broken. There were no bowls for cereal, so breakfast was complicated. Renters should know that they should bring every consumable but salt. It would make a real difference to have a token 'starter kit', say, a roll of paper towel, dishwashing liquid, or some instant coffee and a couple of little envelopes of sugar? I say all of this with some sadness, because the apartment has a real soul to it and deserves love. All said, no weaknesses in the apartment were serious enough to dampen the pleasure of our visit to Venice.

The apartment was large and the layout very inviting. Things like heat and water pressure were perfect. The location of the apartment could not have been better. We were met by a very welcoming and professional representative of the owner. The apartment was clean and the linens good quality. There was soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. We were there in winter, but the apartment has a charming little balcony which must be divine in the warmer months.

Authentic place near nice Venetian squares. Between Guggenheim and San Marco area. Every (airconditioned) bedroom had separate bathrooms.

There was a massive water leak in the kitchen with 2 x buckets -water was leaking out of the storage cupboard and it smelled really bad. We had to empty them every day otherwise the kitchen would flood. There was a power point hanging off the wall in the kitchen with all the live wires exposed (we had kids with us). There was also renovations upstairs and they kept drilling through the roof and dust and building rubble went all over our clothes. We could not relax in the room during the day due to all the noise. The downstairs bathroom we could not use either. Very disappointing.

The local hotel supported the room with check in and check out and with bags. They also booked a water taxi for us - very helpful.
