More than 50 stairs to the appt. Second bedroom is a bit too small for the double bed. No room on either side so had to clamber in from the bottom.

Got a little stuck on arrival and had to wait for host to send us code to get to key. After 20 mins we had the code as Rosanna checks WhatsApp. frequently. I think automated message for code did not come through on time as I received it on day of departure!

Excellent location with co-op shop nearby and fabulous restaurants and gelati very close by. Property is clean, really comfy beds and everything you need is supplied in the kitchen. Apartment is opposite a school so it was lovely to hear the shouts and sounds of the Venetian children lining up to go into school each day.

The location of the facility fantastic. Already at your fingertips museum facilities to explore, as well as restaurants and a bakery with a traditional bakery oven inside the store. The apartment very clean, with an amazing atmosphere, all the necessary kitchen accessories on site and plenty of space. Even the garbage recycling instructions are clear and hot water was also on the top floor ( someone in the comments wrote that this was a problem).

Perfect apartment in a great location! The apartment was clean and spacious and we all slept really well. It was within 5 minutes walking from S Stae station, 15 minute walk to San Marco. I am really happy with the support provided by both Rosanna and Francesca - incredible hosts who were always available and happy to pick up calls for assistance and advice. Our trip went smoothly because we had a beautiful apartment in a quiet location within San Croce but within walking distance to all local attractions. The apartment had a number of lovely shops and boutiques which had reasonably priced gifts to buy too. Thank you Francesca and Rosanna for making our stay memorable. The facilities at the apartment were great too. You had thought of everything to make our stay perfect.

Our state  was awful. The pictures are not the same like the house. The human that has the apartment change a lot of things. The most important disadvantage is that there is no air condition in the two rooms. It has only one air condition that is not in the rooms. So the rooms for summer there was too hot. The apartment is in the third floor without elevator so it was difficult to carry the 20 kg bags with the stairs. Also, the one room was like a storage room. In the pictures you can see only the one room not the other, which is like a storage room. With all this we were disappointed so we stay only the one night and the other two nights we found a hotel to stay. The day after the one night that we stay with text the woman that is the owner of the apartment and tell her about all this. After a lot of discuss, she told us that we are crazy people and to get out immediately from her apartment. This behavior is not suitable to your clients. If you’re renting an apartment, you must make the clients happy from the stay. The last, but not list is that the lights of the one room didn’t work and the apartment didn’t clean well.

location is very good. apartment is within comfortable walk range of every attraction. Osteria Antico, around the corner is a small but charming place with great sea food. you must try it.

I felt a bit catfished. The photos of the living room must have been taken a long time ago because there was no coffee table or rug and the “leather” couch was so damaged that they had to cover it with an old green blanket cause if you sat on it you got covered in bits of flaking brown fake leather. Kind of gross and depressing. Bathroom smelled like mold and the floor planks in the kitchen peeled up when you walked on them.

Con: (Tl;Dr : stay away.) The living condition is not ideal. It was very hot, the air condition is located in the entrance hallway, the only room it cools down is the kitchen and the hallway. It is pretty useless in cooling any of the bedrooms even if we kept the bedroom door opened. Opening the window was no go, the area has lots of mosquitoes. The apartment is not very well maintained, some of the floor wood plank is popping out. The bathroom sink has slow drain , the shower door is missing half of it, We found some of the missing shower door tempered glass pieces in the shower area. Because of the missing door, we either created a slippery watery mess or the shower rug was soaked wet and stinked like sewage. Almost all furnitures in the apartment are pretty worn-out. The living room was the only room the hallway AC unit was facing, but the living room sofa bed's faux leather was all peeling and the sofa was sinking, so the room was not usable. The apartment was so hot, my family of 4 end up all sleeping in one bedroom using the only fan in the house to direct cool air into the room. Staff... I could not get ahold of the staff. The first night the water heater wasn't working, I called the emergency phone number provided, but nobody ever answered the phone. We had to take a ice cold bath. The staff sent me a message the following day, telling me that they will let me know the time when they can send someone to fix it but they never follow up the message. Eventually someone just showed up and knocked on the door, but I have already reset the heater myself. The staff apparently had mistakenly gave our address to another family, who were renting another unit. The family rang our doorbell claiming it was their apartment, it was no big deal, we got the issued figured out. But during the whole ordeal, I had called the staff and they just picked up the phone and hung me up. The staff was just trash.

Pro: Apartment was pretty big. Kitchen and bathroom was updated. Location close to the water bus station, it could be convenient if you have the bus pass.
