Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SwitzerlandThe breakfast was ok. I would appreciate it if they could offer bigger cups for those who drink tea. Cups seem fine for capucino but for tea its defintely too small.
I really recommend this hotel. Its situated nicely close to main train station Termini and also in a walking distance to Colosseum and others. The staff was very friendly. The room I had was facing towards the backside and was calm.

United KingdomFirst night one of the rooms had a horrible smell inside it. The staff was informed immediately when we arrive. Not too sure why the room was made available surely someone would have checked it whilst cleaning or something!!! My kids had to endure the smell for one night because there was no other rooms available. The room was changed by the staff for the remainder of the stay.

UkraineStandard room very small!!! The picture of the room on the Booking does not match the real room! 😳 No slippers and drinking water in the room. We were in the summer - breakfast on the veranda on the roof where it was very hot.
Excellent location. 5 minutes walk from Termini station and 10 minutes walk from Colosseum. Delicious, varied breakfasts. Very good coffee. The beautiful Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major is close by and the Hop on Hop off bus stops.

EgyptI recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed. The cleanliness of the rooms was subpar, and I found several issues with the condition of the accommodations. The air conditioning was not functioning properly, leaving the room uncomfortably hot despite my efforts to adjust it. Additionally, the customer service was lacking; the staff was unresponsive and unhelpful when I raised concerns. To make matters worse, the breakfast experience was unpleasant due to the rude behavior of a staff member. Overall, this hotel did not meet my expectations and I would not recommend it to others.
