Casa Provenza gave us an amazing stay in Catania. The position is perfect close to the city centre and just a few minutes walking from the main attractions. Catania is undoubtely a place to visit in Sicily. Alex and Antonella were perfect hosts. Communication perfect. Availability 100% and very nice and professional people! The room was large and very calm with a direct door on the balcony for the breakfast. The breakfast on the terrace was amazing, calm and with very good and abundant food! Cleanless and services 10/10. We will surely come back to Casa Provenza in the next trip to Catania!

That was an amazing stay! Antonella and Alex went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable: personal check-in, advice on restaurant and excursions, can opener, anti-mosquito fumigator sticks, call a taxi... you name it! It looks like for them this B&B isn't a side business, but the business! So one could definitely expect personal touch. I also would like to mention that the photos of the property are 100% real! The room and public places are perfectly clean. And the view from the terrace is even better that you could imagine based on the photos. Just a tip: put few beers in a mini-fridge in your room and after a long and tiring day of sight-seeing you could enjoy a nice apero on the terrace overseeing Duomo (to the left) or Etna (to the right) before going for a dinner to one of the nice neighboring restaurants! Location is very central: a few minutes from a famous fish market, key sights and the stop of all the excursion buses (to Etna, Taormina, etc.) which is very convenient! Highly recommended!

The location was brilliant. The room was a decent size, very comfortable bed and bathroom. The hosts Alex and Antonella were amazing people. Genuinely kind and loved what they were doing. Always available for advice or a chat. Couldn’t do enough for us! The breakfast every morning on the balcony was superb and always served with a smile no matter how early! Can not recommend this place enough!

Everything was fine, no complaints

Very enjoyable stay, Alex and Antonella were both very kind and helpful and with good knowledge of local attractions in the city, local transport etc. Breakfast was served on the balcony (you can order from a menu) with a nice view of the historic Duomo! The room was excellent and with good facilities, also the location is good as attractions within a 10-15 minute or so walk, overall very happy and would recommend.

Very nice owner and the rooms are perfect - mine had direct access to to terass on which every morning the breakfast was served. The owner are very kind and attentive and we had very nice chats. All in all great recommendation!

It's a sweet and cozy place, very central , with a big beautifull balcony for having breakfast and wonderfull people running it. The terrace has a great view on both the Badia di Sant'Agata and the mount Etna, but the real stars of this B&B are the owners Alex and Antonella. They really make you feel welcome and for me this is the difference between a good B&B and a great B&B. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to visit Catania.

Really nothing to complain (for the very first time to me).

Alex & Antonella are really really welcoming you like an old friend. They are very friendly and thinking about you while your staying. The breakfast is a personal customisation, which is a surprise with a full new experience to me. The location of the place is convenient to the busy areas and also to the bus station. You have a nice view and also a quiet neighbourhood.

Friendly and complete information about nearby places to visit. Many thanks for the places you recommended to us. Also the room was very clean and tidy, good noise insulation. And the breakfast in the morning - very tasty and huge. The Italian coffee was great as was the cappuccino, better than the coffees in town. I should have stayed longer :)

Breakfast was great. The owner hosts were really responsive, very knowledgeable and welcoming. The rooms are steps away from the main sites but it is very quiet at night. Food options in Catania are great! I will certainly return to Catania and look forward to staying here again.

The sound proofing isn’t 100%. You can hear other guests coming in at night sometimes, but I could hear someone’s phone beeping loudly all night one night, which was very annoying (not the owners’ fault).

The location was excellent, a street back from traffic and busy piazzas so there was no street noise. It was immaculately clean, cared for and decorated. It was close to everything and an easy walk to the bus station for buses heading south. It was a little further to the train station and buses heading north, but still ok. It was lovely to have a good breakfast on the open terrace. The hosts were excellent and very helpful and did everything to make my stay comfortable and to make my stay in Catania enjoyable.

The accommodation is family run. Antonella and Alex were very devoted and attentive to me. Wonderful breakfast on the terrace at the time I indicated. I have been to many places in the world, but I have never met such professional service! Only the best can really be said. What is important is that all attractions can be reached within a few minutes' walk. I can only recommend it if you are in Catania. Dear Antonella and Alex! Thanks again! See you again soon!

There's no such thing

We had the exceptional pleasure of being hosted by Antonella and Alex. Every day we were taken care of as if we were visiting our old close friends. Thank you very much, guys, for being so hospitable and special thanks for the romantic evening that you helped us arrange. :) My 100% recommendation to everyone who is planning a trip to Catania to choose this place. The apartments are located in the very center among all the main attractions. At the same time (which is always critical for us) the room was incredibly quiet, which allowed us to get enough sleep every day. The cleanliness also deserves special praise, as does the wonderful breakfast. I hope that one day we will have the opportunity to come back here!
