Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesNoisy garbage truck pick ups late night/ very early am. As with everywhere we stayed in Italy - could use a luggage rack so guests don’t put their suitcases on the bed.
Location more residential and seemed far away from sights at first but once we got to know area, it was fine. Enjoyed little bar on corner nearby for caffe et cornetti. Owner very helpful with check in details. There were 2 nice bathrooms to share and never a problem.

The room was spacious and very clean. There was a lot of natural sunlight and the upstairs terrace was great to go out there to have a drink. The location is ideal, very easy walk to the centre.

GermanyComfortable, spacious, clean and beautifully furnished room and a gorgeous bar/lounge room equipped with everything you might need aswell as a beautiful little balcony to enjoy breakfast with a view! The staircase, lounge room and balcony are like a little green oasis with a lot of beautiful and healthy plants making it even more cosy :) The city center is very easy to reach by foot (~15 minutes) or public transport ( bus line 14) The host was very kind and understanding, easy to reach and fast to help with an kind of question :)

Extremely clean and perfect amount of space, we didn’t realise it was a shared bathroom but it is only between three other rooms, and very private and clean. Had details for check in before arrival and very easy to find. Met the host who was very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend

United KingdomGetting a place to park nearby is a bit challenging, though of course this property is easy to get to without a car. The pared down nature of the room and shared bathrooms are not for everyone but I'd say the value for money makes it a good compromise.
A great location in Florence, walkable to most things and also with its own set of shops etc nearby. This is a key code access booking - we only met our host for a necessary govt tax payment, and Domus is deliverately pared down to be stylishly basic.

New ZealandDoesn’t feel like the greatest or tidiest location when you’re walking up to it and it’s just a random apartment building but very comfortable and tidy once you’re in and we had no complaints from that point.
Well located (only a 15-20 minute walk to the various hotspots of Florence), comfortable, communal bathrooms were no issue, felt very secure once inside and good price for Florence!

It was perfect situated for us, not in the middle of the hectic center and nearby a busstop, a very good bakery for breakfast and some fine restaurants! The room was clean and a cosy terras on the roof. Good communication and big flexibility of the host. Thank you for taking care of our belongings so well! The beds were very big and comfortable - my partner and I slept really well during our trip! The place was generally well-maintained and peaceful. The rooftop terrace was lovely and the plants all over the property added a lovely touch.
