Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

UkraineStaff in the restaurant is rude. And I’m not talking about one particular person (I talked to three people). It seams like that they don’t know what hospitality means at all, “throwing” a cup of coffee on the table - that’s too much. I’m not asking to smile or chat, just some manners would be nice. (“Whaaat??” - that’s what I heard when the person didn’t get what I said. Later when I asked to take my croissant in the room they were looking at me like only some weirdo can do that and it’s the first time they hear such a request). This attitude makes you want to change the hotel. I went to the restaurant only once and never want to come back there again. The worst service I’ve experienced (even though I’m a frequent traveler). Metro is a bit far away (15+ mins walking) and breakfast has very limited options - but it’s not a problem in comparison with the one I mentioned before.
The room was clean. The bus stop next to the hotel. There is also a supermarket nearby (6 mins walking).

IndiaThe property is far from the city Center. While there is a bus stop nearby, there is no tickets available. We spent an hour looking for tickets in the morning, could not find, ended up taking a Taxi which was expensive from this location.
Very clean and Spacious room category with a small kitchenette. Smooth check-in even late at night. Fantastic staff, both at the hotel and the restaurant/breakfast. Daily housekeeping. Bus stop at right beside the hotel. overall, good stay

EstoniaThe room did not match up our expectations. It was rather small. The disappointing part was the balcony and view from it to other apartment balconies where laundry was hanging and washing machines working. So it is definitely not a spot for enjoying a glass of wine. First night's sleep was ruined by the stiff matrass. There were huge fluffy pillows, which some people might like, but in combination with a hard rock bed... it was pretty bad. Later on I found a thinner pillow in the cupboard, which made my sleep better.
We were greeted nicely in the hotel. It is one of the few places that allows late night check in, which was important as our flight was a night flight. Location is not in a city center, but there is a bus stop right next to the hotel. Buses go very often and will take you to Piazza Venezia within 20 minutes. There are also several great restaurants where locals eat. Breakfast in the Figo restaurant was okay, nothing special, only sweet options, but they were fresh and decent. The room in the hotel was clean, perfect white bedsheets and towels.

Czech RepublicThe rooms weren't that sound proof and unfortunately, had really loud neighbours on all sides.. My bad luck!
I really appreciate the Vegan-friendly breakfast options. The hospitality of one of the waitresses was impressive, from whom the others could learn and improve. Pretty close to the bus stop for the city center and train station for the airport (Nomentana).

SpainThe breakfast could have more healthy and non-sweet options, beyond sweets there was just plain yogurt and orange or apple. I suggest to incorporate more variety of fruits and options like bread with ham and cheese or scrambled eggs There was no full-body mirror on the room, and the electrical connectors where smaller than usual,i could only connect my laptop in a connection near the room entrance so i had to work sitting on the bed instead of using the desk
Overall the rooms were good, clean , nice and very quiet . The staff was welcoming and friendly both at reception and break fast. I liked that was a bottle of free water on the room, it speaks very poorly of a hotel forcing the guests to pay 2-3 eur for a bottle of water when they arrive tired to their rooms and too many hotel chains do it. The shower water pressure and temperature was good, that is also a basic but again not always present...

Bosnia and HerzegovinaBreakfast - the restaurant is very nice, but they serve only few things for breakfast, they are tasty but I think that it’s not enough because it is small and only sweet things like croissants, crostata etc. Bathroom should be more practical - maybe to put some hanger for towels. Noise from the street - sound isolation is not good.
The best thing about this hotel is location, the bus station from which you can come to the city centar (20-30 minutes) is in the front of the hotel and the train station from which you can go to the Fiumicino airport is 5 minutes away. Rooms are clean, stuff is nice.

Italyparking unfortunately is expensive and there are no many places, for free, around the hotel to park your car...
restaurant very high quality, although in theory not linked to the hotel, being right below at ground floor makes the stay very confy, as after a long day at work, coming back and having a good restaurant for dinner right in the hotel is a great addition to the stay.

LatviaThe breakfast choices are very poor, hotel does not take any responsibility for it (consider to be provided by restaurant behind the wall), gluten free choice is basically yogurt and juice/cafe. Staff in the restaurant doesn't speak English and barely understands the questions. For some reason was given the accessible room, which left weird impression. some minor things in the room looked overused. Don't forget to take adapter for your laptop!
The rooms are clean, overall stay is OK. Staff on reception is helpful, and you can purchase bus tickets here.

LithuaniaStayed for 3 nights - all were lovely, including the overnight stay at hotel . A coincidence?: on a departure morning @ 09:00 the ambinet music (jazz, trumpets) in a corridor was amplified to the level, sort of to intentionally wake up the guests ;) The same (sweet) breakfast offer could be variable by extending buffet menu and even the same variaty could be regularly toped-up, instead of stating customers, "sorry, it's finished".
Very good location (bus stop outside in couple of meters; metro (B line) - 10 mins walk to Libia station to easily access center/ downtown). Air conditioned ameneties were clean upon arrival and were thoroughly cleaned each day. My family of 4 stayed in a family room (612), which got separate bedrooms and a fantastic balcony facing to Northern Rome mountains - enjoyed evenings tasting regional wine with a lovely view outside ;) Breakfast typical Italian (sweet): variety of croissants and buns with fillings, cereal, yogurt, various coffees, tee, juice (that's probbaly the full breakfast menu). Gentle reception service!
