A bit far away from Mestre center and naturally the Venerian Islands. There is a bus stop nearby, but you have to study its timetable quite carefully to figure things out. If you succeed, it is quite comfortable ride to Venice despite the length of the journey. The telephone line to the reception seems to be a bit faulty, so one has to go to the reception oneself to request for anything.

Friendly staff with enough English skills. Comfortable and spacious rooms with centrally controlled air or conditioning, which turns on by request to the reception.

Pillows were uncomfortable. Fridge wasn’t working. Bed wasn’t comfortable. Didn’t have enough hangers. No hooks to hang the clothes. No toilet roll holder. Blankets had stains. Not a great stay.

I found it very odd that I was not able to cancel my cleaning services. The day I arrived I was in bed all day due to a serious migraine. The room had no “do not disturb signs” and I was hoping the fact that I had not surrendered my room key to reception, they would know I was in my room. BUT - the first time I heard a knock on the door, I opened to a super sweet cleaning lady asking to clean my room. I told her I didn’t need it that day to which she looked puzzled as if I had committed some offence (please note I am in my PJs with bedroom hair). I could tell that she didn’t speak English so I just said no as politely as I could and then closed the door. About an hour or two later, she was back with some backup (another sweet lady) and here is where I lost the will to fight them any more (as I was already battling the will to live with my pounding head) and gave in - she then came in emptied my dustbins (which I was told was it) and then proceeded to do a full clean including kicking me out of my bed, which I had every intention of climbing back into. So here I was sitting in presentable, fighting a crazy bad migraine in the sun on a balcony while she hoovered - never in my life have I had such an uncomfortable and awkward hotel experience (and I travel a lot). The other thing is the fact that you pay up front for a buffet breakfast without knowing what you are getting - I paid 7 euros for a small glass of orange juice as I wasn’t interested in any of the options on offer (not saying they didn’t have good options, I was just hoping to grab some fruit which they unfortunately did not have).

The staff were super friendly and the rooms were basic but suited most of my needs. Great location as even though it’s a distance away from the tourist areas, it’s super accessible to the trains and it’s super easy to jump on and travel to Venezia St Lucia.

Good location, nice experience, we booked the room for three people, one queen bed, the other twin bed, two bathrooms was a pleasant surprise🙂. Nice and helpful staff ☺️

I think the only major draw back was that there wasn't an air conditioning machine in the room. We were fairly sure there was air con that was coming from a vent in the wall, but nothing we could turn on or off or change or adjust.

Staff were friendly and helpful when it came to checking in and out and telling us about the area. Location is prime for bus journeys to the station to get the train to Venice which was useful because we were going to the Venice Film Festival each day.

If you want to go to Venice from the hotel, you have to go with 2 busses or walk 20-25 mins to the bus station that will get you to Venice. The last bus that gets you back to the hotel is 10PM, which was a bit early for us.

The room was pretty simple, bed, wardrobe and a toilet. They change towels and bed sheets every night. The staff was pretty friendly, they would help if you need help with going around the city. You leave your room key on reception and you don't worry about it.
