HungaryIf I have to criticise something: the bedclothes. I know, that it is general in South Europe, that's why I even didn't mention it the host, but I don’t like double duvets and duvets without full covering. But it is just really a very small matter.
Spacious apartment with corner terrace, wonderful view to the hills and the sea. Very comfortable, everything available for a nice holiday. The hosts awaited us with a fully filled fridge: wine, cold drinks, fruit, milk, eggs, coffee, biscuits, all these cannot be expected at a lodging without pension. The apartment is much more a home than a commercial accommodation! If you want professional service, it is not that, but much better!:) The young host Diego is a very flexible guy who immediately fulfilled all our wishes. His father Federico is a fantastic gentlemen as well, we had very good conversations without speaking a common language.:) He has excellent own wine and advised to visit lot of nice places in Northern Sardegna. I feel, we made friends there...

Our stay at Sofia was absolutely amazing. There was everything you’d wish for a holiday home - kitchen was fully equipped and there is a lot of grocery goods to make a tasty meal. Bedrooms excellent and the best part was the terrace- the view and atmosphere. Having a view to sea and mountains while having breakfast was the best way to start a morning. Dino is very friendly and helps with everything you need.

MaltaWe loved this place. It was in an idyllic setting and the owners were wonderful. Both Dino and his father are very nice people, and we especially enjoyed Federico's company, who not only gave us very good wine and liqueur, but gave us some very interesting pointers on places to visit and told us about Sardinia's interesting history. We had everything we could possibly need and Dino also provided us with a stocked cupboard and fridge, as we arrived around lunchtime.

Top appartment. All you need is there and more. Very warm welcome. And the host had organised food and welcome drinks plenty and quality. We really felt welcome and at home immediately. Though off season (end November) the stay in Badesi was very nice. Thanks also to Federico and Rex. You where the unexpected plus.

A superb apartment with great hosts ! Fantastic stay ! We were late arriving, almost midnight, because of a cancelled flight. Nevertheless the host Dino met us and walked us around the apartment. Dino was very friendly and came across as a considerate guy, he had even provided two pre-cooked meals for us on our late arrival. The apartment was large, more than suitable for four persons (even though there was only two of us), with large wardrobes. It was very clean with new appliances, including a washing machine. The refrigerator was fully stocked with juice, vegetables, beer, soft drinks, water, yoghurt, and more. On the table was a large plate of fresh fruit, and a complimentary bottle of wine from their own vineyard. Pastries, tea and coffee was available for breakfast, and to do your own cooking the pantry was fully stocked with oils, spices and other ingredients. The main bedroom has its own balcony, and there is a large terrace off the lounge with a table for outside meals. The house is on the side of a hill and has a fantastic view overlooking the countryside and vineyards to the coastline and the sea, the terrace is perfect for watching the sunset. Car parking is easy directly in front of the house, supermarkets and the wide beach (14km long!) are only a short drive away. The host Dino could not be more helpful and friendly, he really does care for the comfort and well being of his guests. Having travelled extensively and stayed in many different places over the years, this was without doubt one of the best places we have stayed. Dino and his father (and Rex the Alsatian dog!) were the perfect hosts – we stayed for seven days, but we could have easily stayed for longer. We totally recommend this apartment.
