It's worth noting this apartment is located in the eves of the building. Although flooded with light, all the windows are either above head level or skylights. It's just a personal preference but I found not being able to see anything out the windows a bit claustrophobic. As others have mentioned, we found the mattress on the bed uncomfortable.

This apartment is in a pretty good location - a short-ish walk from Santa Maria Novella train station and a few steps from the Arno. Lucia provided really good communication and met us at the apartment to hand over the keys. She provided us with some good restaurant recommendations and other visitor information. There is plenty of room to spread out and the view from the roof terrace was just stunning... the perfect place to sit above the hustle and bustle of Florence and enjoy a glass of Tuscan wine.

We loved everything. Appreciated starter coffee and basics in kitchen. The bedding could be updated but that may be a European thing.

We arrived by our own car from Germany and parked the car in the Interparking Garage Europa Firenze (170 m from the apartment). I can recommend this garage as it is great for bigger cars as well. Lucia was a super host and very helpful with a lot of tips & recommendations. The location is perfect, you can walk to every top sights in Firenze. And the view from the terrace is unbelievable.

There are a lot of stairs and only a tiny lift. While it wasn’t an issue for us for some people it could be.

Not at all. If you feel that the water drains slowly in the bathroom, you can lift the lid. It won't have any impact.

It's great. It's five to ten minutes walk from the train station, and five to ten minutes to other attractions. There is a supermarket, a pharmacy, and many good restaurants nearby. Lucia is very nice, the facilities in the room are complete, and there is even a beautiful terrace.

Fabulous view of Duomo from the roof terrace - reason we picked this apartment and we were not disappointed! location was also key, 10-20 min walk to majority of major sights and attractions. We ate out each night, but apartment is well covered for self catering too, WiFi, laundry facilities, everyhing you need Start October was perfect time to go too, still warm and less tourists.

The only thing I can think of would be screens on the windows to keep out any mosquitoes, but there is AC in the apartment, so we used that most of the time instead.

The property had a lot of character with some antique furnishings, rounded doors, skylights and a rooftop terrace overlooking the Duomo. It also had a full kitchen and a washing machine in the bathroom. It is located in the historic district, but you don’t pass through a ZTL camera, so no fines! It’s a block away from a public garage and a grocery store. You’re just a block away from the Arno, near the Amerigo Vespucci bridge.

There were more steps than we thought. Harder for my elderly father-in-law to go up and down. In addition, there was another set of stairs to the Terrace as well.

The apartment was located close to the centre of Florence, had everything needed, and the exposed ceilings gave it real character. The outdoor area provided great all around views of Florence when dining or in the early morning or evening to experience Florence as it transitioned from night to day. The air conditioning made the time spent there after exploring comfortable.

No cover for the terrace and unusable during hot hours of day. A fan and cover would have helped. Unfortunately the extractor fan/hood of the stove did not work and this limited us in what we could cook.

The terrace/patio is a great space to have dinner late on a summer evening! Beautiful view over the city. The apartment is located about 15 minutes walk from the Duomo
