We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomDespite being Sicily, the price is higher than what you would expect, and it wasn't high season. The location is not far from the historic center and provides good choices of restaurants.
The room is great, beds are comfortable, breakfast is good. Compared to other places we stayed in Sicily we really enjoyed it.

The most comfortable rooms we’ve had in Italy, very needy room, great beds and a nice breakfast. Danilo is an amazing host and nice guys that takes time to chat, guide you and help you even with parking spots which is a small detail to keep in mind.

United StatesParking in the neighborhood can be a bit of a challenge, but we always managed to find a space. We were very happy with our stay.
Danilo was a superior and helpful host, and the ample and delicious breakfast he provided every morning turned out to be the best of our entire trip! We LOVED the homemade cakes!! This small and recently renovated accommodation is perfectly situated for touring Siracusa and Ortigia, and it is so clean and comfortable. Each of the 4 rooms is different, and all but three have a balcony with a little table and two chairs, which is great for relaxation and hanging hand washing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and only wish we could have stayed a few days more.

United KingdomThe property can’t help the parking in Syracuse, but there is no dedicated parking in the area because of there being lots of flats, businesses and a school. Plenty of free (white box space) parking within walking distance, you just need to do the rounds on the streets until you find a free space. Can imagine it would be a lot harder in Summer during high tourist season though. Useful note: WHITE spaces are FREE + BLUE spaces are PAID FOR + YELLOW spaces are for loading only so you could risk towing or fines.
Perfect stay! Loved every minute. Incredible room with super comfortable bed, ‘black out’ blinds, lovely balcony. Air conditioned and super clean. Hotel standard room upkeep (bed made daily, fresh towels as needed, bins cleaned daily etc). Lovely breakfast, wonderful host/service from Danillo - So friendly and incredibly helpful! Would highly recommend. Great distance to walk to Ortigia (10/15mins) for delicious food, exploring shops and enjoying drinks by the sea. Great place to explore further afield!
