The views. The breakfast was very good. Love the coffee. The shuttle service to and from the hotel to the village was excellent. We never had to worry about going anywhere. The driver would return in ten minutes if there was too many waiting to collect the remaining people. Very relaxing location lovely and quiet. There are good treks around the hotel if you feel up to it.

Nice comfortable rooms and very clean with a beautiful view. The breakfast was more then enough and plenty to choose from. Very friendly staff and it was great to have the regular shuttle service to get transported between Hotel and the village Monterosso!

Wished we booked longer.

The view was absolutely perfect. We spent 5 days here and felt like paradise. It is away from Monterosso but they do have a shuttle bus every hour to and from the hotel + village (suggest getting a timetable prior to arriving). Staff were super accommodating any request we made and the facilities were perfect. Breakfast options were plentiful.

The shuttle service worked well, and the driver was happy to make second journeys if necessary. The shuttle service did, nonetheless, mean a bit of planning - but that was not a major problem.

We had a fantastic view from our bedroom and we liked the way the bed faced the window so that we could appreciate the scenery at any time.

Really useful and frequent shuttle bus service to & from the village. Hotel is located on a hillside, with stunning views of the Cinque Terre villages. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, staff were all friendly and helpful.

The room could have been larger, but the we had a lovely patio.

The breakfast was generous and the staff was very attentive. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast each morning. The property is lovely and has beautiful views from the front of the hotel. The fragrance of blossoms from the lemon trees pervaded the grounds and the hillside below us was covered in spring wildflowers, poppies and broom.

Since we were traveling on honeymoon we were able to get a room with a view; however, they don't normally assign those rooms unless you are staying for 5 or more days. Cinque Terre is great and there is a ton of stuff to do there but I think being there for 5+ days is a bit excessive. Also, the bed was pretty uncomfortable. The location is also a double-edged sword -- the view is INCREDIBLE but it's an absolute pain to utilize the shuttle since it comes only once an hour. If you miss it for any reason, you're either hiking down the side of the mountain (which isn't easy since there are some steep roads you traverse) or hiking up it which might be borderline unachievable depending on your age and health. You can take a taxi, but what they don't tell you is that taxis in Italy are pretty pricy.

The view from the hotel is incredible. You are situated super-high up on the mountainside and you can see the entirety of Cinque Terre from the balconies. The shuttle that runs every hour is reliable and gets you safely to-and-from the hotel. Breakfast is excellent and the staff is all super-friendly. The rooms were fairly modern and the amenities were well above what my wife and I were expecting.

The hotel is very high up in the hills so if you miss the shuttle then you have a very tiring climb up to the hotel. No taxis available in the village.

The way up there is complicated and looks a little dangerous. Only one car enters at a time. They offer hourly shuttles up and down but that means you can’t leave and return whenever you want.
