As you are not in the town, the small shuttle bus runs once a hour each way which could be increased. No shuttle bus runs if you have an early departure which needs to be factored into your trip.

The hotel and breakfast was lovely with a fantastic view overlooking Monterosso.

From the room - the room and balcony the views of the sea and all 5 villages of the Cinque Terre were wonderful to wake up to - location is a little away from the center of Monterosso making for quiet mornings and evenings - perfect !

The only slightly annoying thing is the frequency of the shuttle bus. It's only a minor point though, because they do come promptly and reliably as per the hotels timetable, so no fault there. I would just make a small request to have it come more frequently. It only comes once per hour and has only 8 seats. If you are getting a shuttle at peak times e.g. for dinner, then you have to get there at least 20 minutes before it arrives to queue up and get a spot, otherwise you then have to wait an extra 20 minutes or so for it to do multiple trips before everyone fits.

Overall a wonderful hotel which I would definitely recommend. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The view from the location is superb. The rooms have also had a renovation since the photographs on Booking.com - so they are even nicer than we expected. Also a really nice buffet breakfast and great to have free car parking on site.

Fantastic hotel. Location superb, away from the town with lovely views and quiet. Staff excellent, nothing was too much trouble and available at all times. Breakfast good with a wide selection. The shuttle service between hotel and town ran on time each way and accommodated large numbers by swift return journeys

A proper queuing system for the bus would be ideal. People were rude just pushing past to catch the bus. There is no need as the bus is happy to do multiple trips and returns within 5 minutes. A pool would make this hotel even more amazing.

We would have liked to have been informed about the shuttle bus that goes from the beach to the hotel before we arrived. The walk up the steep hill with our case was intense and we spoke to other guests who had also not been told about the shuttle bus.

The views are incredible! You can see the other 4 villages of Cinque Terra from your balcony. There is a lovely outside area with lush plants and flowers. The breakfast was delicious and they serve good coffee. The beds were comfortable and the hotel is tastefully decorated.

Lovely quiet location with amazing views. Fabulous breakfast with lots of choice. Friendly efficient staff. Pristine clean. Great regular shuttle service up and down the steep hill. Nice to be away from the busy centre. Cannot fault this hotel.

Unfortunately … I would have loved to have a Restaurant in the establishment . It is a hassle after the beach heat to go all the way up for a shower and then go all the way back down for food. And horrible guests that do not wait their turn on the mini-bus / shuttle. If you do not fight for your sit , you can wait even for 1 - 2 hours to get on the mini-buss . 😡😡😡

maybe the shuttle rides could be more frequent.

Breakfast was great and full for all tastes. our room had a fantastic little balcony with sea view. I liked the idea of the shuttle, so we didn't have to use our car, since in the centre of Monterosso it's quite difficult to find parking spaces. the staff is great, we were treated very nice and felt very welcomed.

Air conditioning took a while to kick in and didn't get low enough. Would have liked to have known about shuttle and times before arriving.

Shuttle was very convenient for getting to and from the town center. Staff was very friendly and provided excellent food recommendations in town. We enjoyed wine and looking out over the amazing view each day of our stay!

The location is very steep to walk to. There is a shuttle that runs once an hour, and is very helpfull, but you have to plan everyhing accordingly..

Lovely quiet hotel, away from the noisy town, with magic view on the seabay. Good location for hiking lovers. The apartment was nice, clean and comfortable.

The drive up to the property is a little scary at times, but do it once and then use the shuttle until you leave!
