Decor is a bit dated but i found that it added to the character of the place. Rest was all more than ok

Lovely place to stay that has a certain charm all of its own despite its somewhat dated look.. We had a super two night stay here with a great and super clean room, good breakfast and within a few meters of the main square in Urbino which was super convenient. I would recommend a room at the back of the building which has some great views and are quieter. Recommended and great value for money. Look forward to my next visit

It was an excellent location for exploring Urbino and a lovely view from our window. A very comfortable room and very helpful staff who helped find an alternative transfer to Perugia when our pre-booked taxi cancelled on us.

This is a clean, simple hotel which is ok for a one/two nights stay. Nothing fancy, but staff is courteous, rooms are clean, there is breakfast with some good options, and location is very convenient. Apparently, in terms of hotels, there are not many options in Urbino.

Lovely big room. Very cheap mini bar for water and cold drinks. Great breakfast. Very centrally located and easy access to the parking. Hotel kept our bags until we were ready to leave. Easy drop off and parking arrangements

Room was a little dark.

Excellent location within a colonnade right by the Ducal Palace. Breakfast was excellent and dining terrace overlooking the garden and distant view delightful. Good air conditioning and helpful staff.

It would raise the rating if the shower facility would be slightly bigger. The quality of breakfast could be improved.

Location is exceptional and very convenient. The procession in celebration of city history was found to pass right in front of the hotel. Room is spacious and quite clean.

Amazing location in beautiful Urbino - balcony overlooking historic city. Welcoming and friendly staff. Good buffet breakfast. Tea & coffee making facilities in room. Air-conditioned room. Underground parking available just outside city walls - access to city level via lift.

The staff member we met was extremely helpful to us. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short and return home urgently for personal reasons, but the chap (sorry I didn't get his name) was wonderful in arranging everything without any hassle. Fair play to him. The hotel is very well situated right in the centre of Urbino historic centre, 5 mins to the Palazzo Ducale and the Duomo, plus lots of eateries. The room was comfortable. Due to circumstances, we didn't get to have breakfast. Getting to Urbino and Albergo Italia from the Trenitalia stazione at Pesaro (35km, approx 1 hour away) was thankfully easier than expected, but better information should be provided by both the hotel and Urbino tourism generally. Adriabus runs from/to Pesaro train station to Urbino's Porta St Lucia bus depot every half hour (approx €4 pp each way, takes 55 mins). At Urbino's Porta St Lucia bus depot there are elevators to bring you up 10 floors higher to the ancient Porta St Lucia gate. From there it's approx 5-10 mins walk, slightly downhill to Albergo Italia.

Welll, excellent location has a potential drawback if your room is on the street. A bit noisy as many students were celebrating graduation. That's nice, but, stil, it is some noise.

This hotel is very centrally located, rooms with good size, comfortable, shower is easy, beds comfortable and helpfull staff. In comparison with my previous, four star hotel, this was better.
