The bed wasn't the most comfortable, only one floppy pillow and a thin comforter but I've had worse.

The view from the room was spectacular, it looked like a screensaver and it was just unbelievable at all times of the day. The room itself was adequate, no microwave or fridge and the pillow was not the comfiest, but the view really made up for it all. The outdoor seating in the hotel entrance was gorgeous and smelled amazing! I highly recommend this hotel, my mom and I absolutely adored it and felt extremely lucky to have found such an affordable and amazing accommodation. There is a lot of stairs or hills to get here so be mindful of that.

Very nice space! Absolutely better than the pictures. Spacious room and cute furniture, and especially the amazing garden! The flowers smell wonderful ❤️ Hosts are really hospitable and friendly. Rather convenient location and if you bring big luggage you can follow the car track where there are less stairs.

The bed was rock hard--so much so that it impeded sleep--we stayed 4 nights and slept poorly the entire time thanks to the bed. The pillows were also flat and hard and uncomfortable until we asked for two extras (given cheerfully), which were clearly new and not flat or hard. The water pressure in the shower was so low that it took me 20 minutes to rinse the shampoo out (I have long thick hair, but this was VERY low pressure) and the pressure in the sink was fine, so I assume it was a low-flow shower head for conservation purposes, but it was TERRIBLE. Hair dryer is permanently affixed to the wall in the bathroom, like a cheap motel in the US, which makes it hard to use when two people are sharing the room/bathroom. Only given ONE key to the room, so it made things complicated when we needed to be two places at once. Limited outlets in the room (only one on each side of the bed, and one on the far wall for the coffee maker) so be prepared to swap devices.

Hotel is very clean and has clearly been recently updated/renovated in a few key ways. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect--far from the noise of the main streets in Bellagio, but just up a few flights of steps. View of the lake and the Tower from the balcony. Lovely peaceful little courtyard area with grapevines, cold AC in the room. This is a bare bones, sufficient type hotel. The staff is only on the premises a few hours per day, so you must be highly self sufficient and willing to do without.

The reception was a dark and dull room. Not very welcoming at all. The bedroom was small and the furniture was old. The free toiletries comprised of a small bar of soap and two sachets of shampoo. There was nothing positive you could say about this place. My wife said it was more like a youth hostel. You had to walk through the garden to get in and out of the building. To reach the property from the lakeside was up quite a steep road or you could take to the steps which were even more steep. You needed to be more like a mountain goat. Not for someone who is elderly or has any walking issues. I would not recommend this place at all. It is not good value for money at €300 for two nights with no breakfast. In fact I would not recommend Bellagio at all! Very pretty during the day but dies at night. Nothing to do after dinner.

Property needs to do more to enhance the overall experience for the guests, such as lighting in courtyard and coffee and small breakfast offerings. Staff was unavailable during checkout hours listed. There should’ve been a TV in room.

Maybe a little better communication on how many stairs it takes to get to the hotel. Terrible location for older people. Maybe give directions on how to avoid as many stairways.

had to wait 1/2 hour after the check-in time before we could be brought to our room….no staff at front of house until 9am each morning which made settling the bill/returning keys difficult when we wanted to catch a ferry after check-out

Definitely not value for money. Breaskfast was not offered which is fine, however, there were very limited facilities despite the lack of breakfast. There was a coffee machine in the room but no other options like tea, hot chocolate or a kettle for hot water. There was no fridge so sorting our own breakfast was a struggle. The room was clean at a glance, however, simple areas were not. The coffee machine had residual coffee stains from previous uses. The extractor fan in the shower was covered in a thick layer of dust and the shower had a brown film of dirt on the lower tiles. The hotel has potential with a lovely shaded outdoor seating area but this is not utilised so really a waste of space. The reception area is dark and cluttered with furniture thats pushed together - just not inviting. The front desk is not usually manned with a permanent, hand-written sign on the door saying that no one is around at the moment. We found this a bit odd especially at check in and check out times. I would think twice before booking. If you're looking for a no frills place very last minute, this may suffice. If not, dont waste your money.

There wasn’t anything to love or hate it was just a place to sleep with a nice view. However, if you have a car the parking situation is reallllllly tough. we may have found a place outside of the city center if we had known this ahead of time.

the property was pretty bare but you’re paying for the location and views. we didn’t stay in the room much so it was sufficient for 2 nights and we did love the view.

Needs to serve breakfast of some sort on their beautiful Terrance. Seems it’s a shame they are not using it.
