The free wifi did not reach my room. I had to sit in the shared area or outside for the wifi to work.

The serenity of the location was great. Very peaceful and gorgeous view from the garden. I didn't use it but the kitchen and dining room was a nice touch if I traveled with the family or longer than one night.

The narrow road to the property is difficult to drive through and park. It is at the end of a narrow T-junction, and the parking space is shared by two cars. We were luckily helped by some locals when we needed to reverse out of the parking. It would be good in the future to advise guests ahead of time about the parking. It is quite essential to drive here because the nearest train is at Manarola and the walk to the property is 30 minutes from there with a 300 metre elevation. Good to do for fun, but probably not with suitcases!

The location was great, it was walking distance to local shops and small cafes. We liked that it was perched up in the hills in a quiet and secluded area. We also liked how spacious it was and that there was clean kitchen facilities.

The entrance for the car is quite dificult.

The view and the terrace are very nice. Include parking place but two bigs cars won't fit. Nice restaurant at the corner and a minimarket with basic supplies.

There is no one to meet you on arrival. All communication was via messages with pass codes to lock boxes to get you into the gate and then your room. Payment of taxes was via message with a link. A lady that lives there in another room first told us that it was private property so we were unsure that we were at the right address. A neighbour then helped translate to work out how to gain access.

Great location up in the hill above Manarola which is about 30 min walk down hill to or catch a bus. There are 2 restaurants & a small mini market right by the accom. We didn’t get to the winery which is a few minutes walk. The accom has parking available. The accom was very pleasant & clean. It has 3 seperate bedrooms & a shared kitchen. A nice outdoor area to watch the sunsets. You can take your own food with the kitchen there or buy at mini market.

No sound proofing, we could hear the other guests in the mornings having conversations etc from our room. Bus ride from Manarola is frequent but difficult to get back to the apartment on a night. Only 1 taxi in the whole area. Parking is down an extremely narrow street, not suitable for SUV size cars

Great location to spend some quiet time after hiking around. Rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is a bonus. Having private parking available was a huge plus. The host made sure we had everything we needed and communication was excellent.

Only dislike was not e Pugh places to grab something to eat if you are getting in late and don’t bring supplies. Staff left us delicious muffins for breakfast though

They have the best body lotion I wish I could get a few more bottles to take home. Never smelled anything so good.

Extremely loud. Can hear person in room next to us pooping in toilet and subsequently scrubbing the feces off the bowl. The bed was rock hard and the AC did not work. There’s a bar 20 meters away from window. Could here everything (breaking bottles, people screaming, kids kicking ball against wall and people’s conversations until 3:30 am and then woken up by trash men at 5am). Add on Priceline specifically says free parking, found out when I got there that was a complete lie, had to park far away and pay. This is not a hotel so there are no staff. It’s a shared lower part of a house managed by a third party in Rome I believe which is also a pain in the ass. There is a cleaning lady who comes in the mornings but that’s it. Can see the ocean but most of the view from the back yard is the back of Neighbour’s house. 100% would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a little romance.

It’s clean, the room smells nice, there is hot water and the common area is large.

It wasn't a problem for me, but just advising that there aren't many restaurants or grocery stores in Volastra, and getting down to the closest town requires a 10 min bus, so be aware of that when booking.

Affittacamere Niria was amazing. The room and bathroom were exactly as pictured, neat and tidy and clean. The location and check-in instructions provided were easy to follow. And the view from the communal garden was stunning!
