We liked everything actually but most especially the breakfast prepared fresh for you, from the baked goods to the eggs, bacon, etc.. I also like that Livia, the lady owner, is so approachable.

We were travelling all over northern Italy for 6 weeks, and this is one of the best places we stayed in the whole time. Large room, great rooftop terrace, and great kitchen where the owner herself made us a great breakfast. It's a little outside the historic central downtown, but it's an easy walk or bus ride there, and the peace, quiet, and nearness to the train station made this really more of a benefit than a problem. Can't recommend highly enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Livia was a most helpful and considerate host. Breakfast was delicious with eggs made to order as well as an array of home baked pastries. The room was spotless. We enjoyed drinks on the lovely rooftop patio. The location was very good with proximity to the Campo di Marti train station. Is it also very walkable to the historical center. I would highly recommend a stay at Casaldo’s rooms.

The details! Best breakfast I have experienced so far. Fresh, healthy options, and many of them! The breakfast room is a kitchen, so there you go! The rooftop terrace is a beautiful place for a drink or coffee. Details in the room make a difference....coffee maker, for example if you want a coffee in your pajamas or less! The couple/owners are DELIGHTFUL and full of information. I will never stay anywhere else in Florence unless someone leaves me an estate/vineyard in the area in their will!

Maybe there is something, but when you are so happy both with the fantastic service, the room and the amazing breakfast it is very difficult to think of something negative ...

The breakfast was delicious! And that was very much thanks to the very professional person working there this morning (= Thursday April 25th). Complementary to the buffet you could pick from yourself she prepared what you preferred. And the way she did that was really top class. I have travelled around the world frequently, especially the last 20 years. So based on lots of experience I can strongly recommend a stay here.

We liked everything

We enjoyed our time there each day and night. Everything so spacious and clean, with everything you need for some days. The bathroom super clean and the shower in amazing conditions, water perfect as well. Also, the breakfast was amazing, the host Livia and the cook make some amazing omelets, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, never eaten an omelet so good! The host was so kind and helped us with everything we needed, so you can count on support. The terrace is the main attraction, lovely to take the breakfast there under the pine tree and sun, also, amazing spot for photos :). Super close to train station (Firenze Campo di Marte) and bus station, but it's worth to take the train to the center (central station Firenze Santa Maria Novella), only 6 to 10 minutes.

The location is a bit further out of the centre but the train station nearby is less than a 10 minute walk which is great!

Really friendly staff, there is a cook there for you to serve breakfast in the mornings which is lovely! The terrace is gorgeous upstairs.

Room was slightly cold on the last night, but we realised it was because the long curtains were covering the heater and preventing the heat from filling the room.

Everything was great! The hosts were very responsive and helpful, check-in instructions were clear. The room was very beautiful with one of the best toilets we’ve stayed in Italy. Slept like a baby in the clean, comfy and white sheets. Definitely want to be back again :)

Property is in a quiet area, within a walkable distance to the main attratctions. The room was clean and cozy. It was possible to purchase some necessities like slippers and toothbrushes as well as some snacks and drinks at the entrance area. The hosts were super friendly and nice!
