Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PortugalThe instructions were very detailed, but the exterior entrances to the building were a bit confusing and we had trouble calling the number to open them. Once in and figured out it was easy to get in and out.
The breakfast and snack offerings were generous and very good quality. The rooms have been modernized and were very clean and well maintained. I appreciate the added touches like makeup remover towelettes, and chocolates. Great location for food and drink options.

United KingdomA very smart little apartment, well organised with breakfast provided in the kitchen. The access is very well comunicated remotely by Franco who kept in touch online. A wonderful reasonably priced pied a terre for visiting Milan in a lively area full of bars and restaurants along the canals. A 20 to 30 minute walk to the Centro Storico and the fabulous Duomo.

Very clean, modern, recently refurbished, excellent location, right in the middle of Navigli but quiet as block set behind the frontline buildings. Very well equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee machine and toaster. Good breakfast with bread, croissants, butter, jam, coffeee, tea, milk, juice and biscuits provided. Access instructions looked complicated but worked fine. Lots of bars, restaurants nearby and amazing Vintage Market on Sunday.

United StatesThis was a hidden gem of a B&B on the smaller canal in Navigli, only minutes walk to the grand canal. Franco, our host was incredible with communication, support, and overall outstanding friendliness. Our room was comfortable, spacious, very clean, and had a full shower, large bed, closet space and a TV, We had a shared kitchen and washer dryer area. Lots of nice little perks, snacks, grab and go breakfast, yogurt, cafe, etc. I would recommend this property to everyone visiting Navigli, Milano. Again, I can't say enougn superb things about Franco and our stay!!!! A++++

United StatesLocation was convenient, but at night it would fill up with night life, which can be good and fun, but for tired travelers getting back home from day trips, it made it a bit cumbersome and annoying to wade through the crowds of people to get to our room.
The breakfast and amenities were great and very convenient. Despite sharing the common area with another room, the rooms felt private enough. Location was very convenient, we did not have to walk too much for Metro stations or the city center

United StatesNothing, it was great!! It was a tiny, tiny elevator, but I wouldn’t worry as it’s on the 2nd floor of the building.
We were told it wasn’t the safest area by locals, but felt EXTREMELY safe staying here. The room was very clean and was cleaned every morning, the owner was extremely nice and accommodating. In a perfect location and great walking distance to shops and restaurants. It started to feel like home and we were both sad to leave our room!!

AustriaThe only downside was that the walls are thin and so you can hear neighbors from the apartments close by. In our case there was a woman singing operas, which was a bit annoying.
Franco was very responsive and helped us twice: once with the heating and the second time, when we accidentally broke the access card. Thanks a lot! The room was comfortable, the kitchen really well equipped and the self-service breakfast good. If you like going out, the location is very good, but if you are going to the center or anywhere else, you have to rely on public transport which you can reach after a walk of 5 to 10 minutes.
