“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Le Dolci Colline, it was such a nice experience in the peaceful and quiet hills of Umbria. With so much care and attention from Stefano and Filippo to this Agriturismo. Stefano the owner was extremely helpful with everything during our stay.
Nice pool area, walks nearby, activities at the accommodation. We decided not to have a car which was fine for relaxing at the property and in the nearby area, but I would say a car is very useful to see more nearby towns or go to restaurants etc.
Thanks again Stefano, Filippo and family! :)”
“Everything. Great peaceful location, facilities and very clean. Also Filippo and Stefano are great and relaxed hosts. Highly recommended for any type of stay.”
“The staff were spectacular and super accomodating. The room was amazing, really kept the original facade in excellent condition and the grounds are spectacular.
The dinner they provide is exactly what we needed, really felt like a home-cooked meal, little bit more $$ but totally worth it.
Thank you Gian-Marco, you made our stay great.”
“This was a truly great stay -10/10. Thank you. Everything about this incredible castle was so very special - from the wonderful staff through to the amazingly refurbished rooms which retained all of the ambiance and character of this castle, to the wonderful dinner and breakfast. And the location - wow! Views everywhere! And even an old tower to climb! We all recommend this place and wished we could have stayed a lot longer. We will be back!”
“Absolutely stunning hilltop location, the agriturismo occupied the small cluster of buildings including the Castello and the old chiesa that comprised the former fortified village of Giomici. The dinner and the breakfast were generous and delicious, which was welcome since we were travelling by bike and approaching Giomici from the SW was a very challenging climb from the valley on a rough, steep gravel track. Going somewhere else for dinner was not an option for us.
We had a 2-bedroom suite which was very generously equipped. Travelling by car would allow guests to bring the provisions for self-catering. The rooms were quirky being shaped by the historical structures of the Castello, It felt like a privilege to be staying in such accommodation.”
“Unbelievable history at every turn! Had two dinners there, best food we had in Italy during our 2-week trip. The staff was so accommodating, attentive, and just fun to be around.”
