“The owner came to meet us to hand over the keys and explain everything about the apartment. It is run by him and his wife and I have to stay this was the most spotless apartment we ever stayed in. Everything clean, and thoughtfully prepared for a stay. Modern furniture, very well equipped - it's truly like a modern apartment not your usual airbnb, minimalistic approach.
The area is very nice, residential, felt safe and prosperous. The neighbors we met were all very friendly and welcoming. Easy, free parking nearby. Small town experience - young couples might prefer something more romantic or lively, but it is perfect for families.
The lake was a few minutes away by car, recommend Spiaggia della Guglia for a quick swim, sandy beach with pebbled entry, great for even kids, not too crowded and a car park only 100m away.
Great restaurant (Tavernetta) nearby, recommended by the host - quite popular with locals, might want to call ahead for a reservation in the busy evening time.”
