“A beautiful off grid location and very peaceful with stunning elevated views across the vines and surrounding forest. An amazing dining terrace, a great pool area and friendly staff (thanks to Bartholomew, Giulia and the chef). The rustic room was large with air conditioning. It’s definitely worth dining here as there is just enough choice and the food was beautifully presented … and what a view from the terrace when eating. It’s worth taking advantage of their free tour and tasting at the cellar at their second vineyard, Casalvento, 20 mins away. Borgo Livernano was great value overall and we thoroughly loved the relaxing experience.”
“Charming little town with nice staff and spacious bedrooms. The staff gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants to try. The private pool was a lovely addition.”
“The location and tranquility and charm of the of the village was perfect, great little room and on our last night had a meal in the restaurant attached to winery. Waitress( chef’s wife ) was lovely. Food excellent!!”
“Great service, owner is taking care with full passion and dedication. I highly recommend to stay here and enjoy the beautiful landscape, wine and food.”
“Beautiful traditional villa style residence in a stunning valley location.
Views to die for!
Exactly what we hoped for a Tuscany stay with true Italian family hospitality.
Restaurant on site was an added bonus. The smells coming from the kitchen when we arrived just added to the authentic experience.
Location is fantastic but would not stay without a car. The road itself into Radda is extremely narrow & windy with no walking path, but only 5 minutes by car into town.
Would highly recommend staying here if you want a traditional Tuscan experience.”
“Walking distance to three excellent restaurants. Lovely location in stunning Chianti countryside. Easy day access to both Florence and Siena. Apart from a sparse single bedroom all bedrooms were nicely furnished with newly fitted modern bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped.”
“Being able to sit by the pool and look out over the vines is a special experience. We had a self contained apartment so had our own space which was great. There’s a winery, pool, spa and restaurant on site so you really could get the Tuscan experience without leaving if you wanted. It’s in the heart of Chianti region - you’ll need a car (obviously) and recommend a tour or a driver if you want to visit a few vineyards in one day.”
