We had a super comfortable stay at Sunny Central apartment. The check in was very smooth, the hosts were very thoughtful and available with any enquiry we had. The apartment is clean, warm, quiet, comfortable, functional and has everything we needed: from coffee machine and fully equipped kitchen to spices and washing machine tablets. The location was perfect being a good base for all the activities outside the city yet close to city centre and shops.

Cosy clean and comfortable apartment. Self-chek-in is clear and understandable, and there is no problem with this. Everything is nearby, coffee, shops , and a perfect location for all needed bus stops and sightseeing

The apartment is very cozy, the kitchen is fully equipped. There are two supermarkets in the neighbourhood and all tours and drop-offs have a stop on the opposite side of the street.

We loved our stay at Sunny Central Apartment and would definitely recommend to others! The apartment was spotless when we arrived, looked exactly like the photos and had all the necessary appliances needed in the kitchen. It was only a short 5/10 minute walk to get to the start of Reykjavík town and really close to supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and shops etc. We would definitely stay here again when we next visit Reykjavik😊

The street noise was louder than I expected. There is also a huge construction site across the street that clearly can not be changed. I just wish I'd known. I should have asked for a blanket. All that was available was a throw blanket, but I made do. The heaters worked exceptionally well, and the room heated up quickly.

The location was pretty easy to navigate from around the city. The host was communicative. There was a Bonus store 1 block away.

Some may not like the fact that there's construction on the other side of the road, but we didn't feel any discomfort from it.

Wonderful, cozy little apartment in a walking distance from the center of Reykjavik. The host Sóley was very welcoming and gave very clear directions. The apartment was equipped with everything needed.

Distance from bus stop to the apartment is not so near (not far), but need more efforts especially if u're walking with big luggage. No cleaner everyday.

The admin staff was super detail! Eventhough there was no reception but all instructions/notes were crystal clear. They even made an effort to reserve a taxi for us, recommended good places to eat and reachable almost 24/7. This apartment got almost everything we need. But just a recommendation, some people can't drink black coffee :) would be great if you can provide milk/creamer in the fridge too. Or provide coffee capsule for cafe latte. Then it'd be perfect!

Very comfortable and well equipped apartment, next to bus stop 12 for most of day trips from Reykjavik. Highly recommended.

The place was very warm and cosy. It was easy to find and a shuttle bus from the airport stops across the street from the apartment. The apartment itself was bright, there was a lot of sunlight. The bed and sofa both were comfortable, there was a functioning oven and stove for cooking as well as many plates and cutlery. We were able to walk from the apartment all the way to the city center. Also, there was a bus stop for the inner-city zone nearby. As well as that, the area is quiet, there wasn't a lot of traffic or people around. There were grocery stores across the street. The view from the balcony was stunning and we owe a lot to this apartment for making the experience of Iceland one to remember for ages.

Requires another saucepan & a lamp, so that you don’t need the top lights on all the time. Would also have been good to have instructions for the oven.
