location was wonderful, it's nice the cabins are separated from each other and from the main lodging. back porch with bbq, and we cooked most of our meals onsite. convenient to town, but in a small community. we would come back and would recommend this to others. watching and photographing the northern lights from the porch was great!

It's probably a cultural thing, but the double duvet is not an enjoyable thing! Getting to the exact location was not that simple ( we reached the street with no issue, but the house itself was not easily marked, and same with our room). Not impossible to find, just a little tricky the first time!

The views are really good, good value for money, and location.

Exceptional facilities. I booked a room. There are only about 3-5 rooms in the apartment (if your booking a room, the cabins ofc are private). The rooms share a wc, shower, a kitchen with everything you need and even a TV area. You only share the area/facilities with other travelers wich is really cosy :) The shared area is also stylish, clean and roomy. And the view, ohh what a great one ! My room had a view over the ocean and mountains. Love the location, short drive to the city (Akureyri) and yet a country vibe in a peaceful area. Also, I didn't get back pain, my back was fine. Stayed for 2 nights, but I often get back pain from hotel beds. The bed was good :)

Room was extremely small for two. Didn’t have a dresser or a place to place luggage. Power outlet was placed over bed and it wasn’t recessed so power converter hung haphazardly potentially could fall on one’s head. It was missing a place ledge or small shelf to place make up. Didn’t realize that it was a shared bathroom or that it’s self check in and had a panic attack trying to contact them with no WiFi or cell service. They did respond and get me the right info though so not as bad. They also pre-sent info that I didn’t notice so that’s on me.

Very clean and updated interior. Well stocked kitchen for self cooks. Bathrooms clean. I was shocked it was a shared bathroom but because it was relatively clean it wasn’t as gross as I imagined. Water views were nice and they had a nice open eating area in kitchen and off.

The location is a farming area, so there were a number of flies trapped inside the kitchen. The kitchen was otherwise clean and functional. The room was a little bit on the small side but is fine if you’re travelling with a weekend duffle or carry-on luggage.

The location is beautiful and quiet, a nice drive up the road from the main town. Bathroom and toilet were separated to make sharing with other guests easier. Plenty of seating for everyone if you’re making your own meals. Free wifi!

There was not much to complain about, maybe to mention you could hear very well when people where going in and out of the place but our room was located by the front door, but even so we slept very well.

The bed was wonderful, slept very well in it, it was so peaceful there. Really liked the place, met the host, had a little talk and he was very friendly and easy to talk to, I recommend this place highly.

This is an impeccable guesthouse with wonderful rooms. It is so comfortable and feels like a home. The staff is communicative and excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I really loved that our room had two rooms and a hallway in it. We finally got some space. The way they designed the guesthouse is to maximize comfort of the guests. And it is very clean and well decorated.

Nothing to complain about actually.

The place was easy to find, the room though not to confuse the room number with the house number. Easy to park area. Shared kitchen facilities are clean and well up to date. Comfortable for 4 adults space, with lots of room to move about. Good recommendation to know where to go by reading their guest guide book. Heater was well working. Toilet have very good shower.
