To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Brilliant use of a small space with lots of smart ideas. Particularly impressed by the wall coffee/tea/kitchenette station and the storage under the bed. Bed was very comfortable, not much motion transfer from person sleeping next to me.

The room & the premises could not have been nicer. Such an efficient & aesthetic use of the space! Bed was so comfy & bathroom facilities were modern & superb.

Great central location, close to everything we needed. Rooms were well equipped. I made use of the desk and the beds were very comfy. Also liked the well stocked kitchenette.

BelgiumRoom could be a bit bigger and there is construction outside the window of our room which can be a bit disturbing. However, we left to explore the nature or the city quite early during our stay and that was not an issue.
Very nice accommodation, walking distance to the city centre of Reykjavik. It has parking available just outside the building and a common kitchen you can use if needed. The room is small, but comfortable and clean. The host provides all necessary amenities and informs you about the smell in the water (which is the case in most of Iceland). We did not meet the hosts in person but all interactions were smooth and helpful.

A great option for a visit to Reykjavik. Just a short walk to the centre. Comfortable room... nice bed, heated floor in the bathroom. Really helpful owners! Lovely to have access to kitchen facilities too. Great coffee :)

It was nice to have a coffee and some breakfast before we explored. It was walking distance to the city centre, the harbour and local amenities. We were very grateful to be able to check in early, so that we could be at the Sky Lagoon in time for our booking.
