Some nights we had to look around a bit for parking.

We rented both apartments, so it was wonderful to be so close together but each have our own space. The upstairs apartment is bigger - the fold out couch doesn’t really work in the bottom apartment, but that was fine since we only needed one. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do.

The location was very easy to get to from a number of bus stops. Quick walk from 8 or 11, which made catching tours or buses back to the airport easy. Also easy to walk around the city from the apartment. The water was nice and hot, the beds cozy! Close to shops & restaurants! Maria was very friendly and helpful!

Great apartment on a nice quiet street! We chose this place based on location and for ease of walking the town on our first night in Iceland, and it didn't disappoint. Everything was clean and comfortable!

Bedroom space was very tight. No nightstands or place to keep things bedside other than the floor. Toilet is quite tall with sharp edges on the seat; very uncomfortable. Needed a small bookshelf/storage unit for toiletries in the bathroom (only space was on the back of the toilet and sink). Needs a toilet paper holder. Could use a small cart/shelf next to the refrigerator for the microwave (it is high on the refrigerator and hard to reach, needing to stand on a chair or risk spilling hot food/drinks when taking them out).

Great location. Nice quiet street but close to downtown action and easy access to highways. Apartment was well appointed and cared for, quality furnishings (real glasses, ceramic dishes, etc.). Really felt like a little home away from home. Enjoyed the public pool right around the corner and lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

The location was very convenient! East walk to shops, restaurants and some sites. The apartment had everything we needed but was a little tight for 4 people.

Microwave needed to be on a table, would have liked bedside units with lamps and a blackout blind in the bedroom (went in June during midnight sun season). No dishwasher tablets, but not a problem to wash-up instead as that is what we are used to.

Easy to find apartment, always wanted to stay in an authentic Icelandic coloured house. Very quiet area although only a few streets up from main street. Safe to walk around, lots of cafe's and restaurants and supermarkets or corner shops. Not far to walk from drop off/pick up bus stop just 5 minutes and 12 minutes from tour bus stop for day trips. Lovely shower with plenty of hot water, comfy beds with own single duvet each.

Maria was exceptionally nice and welcomed us with a box of Christmas Iceland Chocolates! The apartment is in an excellent location for shopping, eating and seeing the beautiful surroundings. The bus stop 9 is close enough to make it convenient to travel to excursions.

Minor points/suggestion; to have some additional small lighting for the bedroom, reading etc.. Floor mop for the bathroom, the shower water runs around into the main area.

We were comfortable and it’s always great to have the flexibility to cook in or go out. The kitchen has all you need for a short stay. Super comfortable bed & lovely shower/bathroom. It was perfect for both local activities & getting out and about beyond the city.

The only hiccup during our stay was the absence of an iron. While I understand it wasn't explicitly mentioned, we somehow expected one to be available. That aside, it's the only area that could use a bit of improvement. Overall, still a great experience!

I absolutely loved the location of this place! Everything was within walking distance, making it a breeze to explore the city without needing to rely on a car.

I would advise you to get warm pejamas, its relatively warm but you'll still need to dress heavily in winter when u sleep. As windows do leak cold air

We liked everything.

We (family of three) spent two very comfortable nights in Reykjavik at this place. Maria was a wonderful host, very helpful and responsive, which we had the pleasure to meet as we were leaving. The apartment is in a great (best?) location, it is beautiful, comfortable, warm and cozy. Everything one might need is there, including an espresso machine that makes great coffee. There is option for paid street parking, on the same street or neighboring ones. If you arrive late most spots might be occupied already. We would definitely stay there again.

Host was so so nice that I remember how nice she was a month later. She gave lots of recommendations for the local area and was really welcoming. It was super easy to get the keys and is in a super central location without being too overwhelming or loud
