I thought the breakfast was included. And when i was thinking about adding it i found it a bit overpriced compared to the offerings around town. I used to stay there when it was an Icelandair Hotel and enjoyed the included breakfast more.

The room was very small, the sink was in the room outside or the bathroom. Door bathroom had a hole in the glass door, no privacy.

Nothing really. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint is we purchased a pizza to eat as a family (8 people, 4 rooms) and they don’t allow you to eat in the lobby at one of the tables. Hotels will let you do that in the US. Slight inconvenience.

The hotel was very spacious and comfortable with lovely views. The bedroom was also very spacious with extremely comfortable beds and a great shower. The only fault is that the blinds did not fit properly and let light in which was a slight issue as the sun was shining until about 11pm.

Location was up a hill. Asked for a quiet room and was put at back end of building next to road where vehicles accelerated up the hill. Low cost accommodation for premium price

The toilet/sink area wasn't that practical - for one, it didn' have a fan :-( The included breakfast was buffet style and of decent quality, but there wasn't enough variety.

We were offered to bid on a room upgrade prior to arriving - I liked that. We did have a winning bid and got a deluxe room (basically a bedroom & living room area separated by a TV) with a separate shower and toilet/sink areas behind the bed. Everything was pretty comfy and decent quality. The included breakfast was pretty good, albeit with not enough variety. The location of the hotel was great - walking distance to downtown, the pool, and it had parking included, which the other main downtown hotel lacked.

Toilet is next to the bed behind a glass sliding door that doesn't close fully. Hotel is up a steep hill from the center.

Very low shelf above the bed about half way up the headboard which we found was ideal for banging your head on!

Good value hotel for a on night stay in Akureyri with short walk into town. Room was quite and good nights sleep. Some of the decor was a bit dated. Bedroom layout odd with the toilet one side and the shower the other side behind the head of the bed which was a bit strange.

Our room was close to the lobby and we could hear people walking, glasses being moved outside our room and just alot of noise from what was happening outside of the room. We will be back but then ask for another room.

You could hear a lot of car noise from the street in the bedroom, window blinds let through light from the street, the toilet was separated from the bedroom with a frosted glass door that didn’t close completely which meant zero privacy when travelling with someone else

Toilet does not feel very private in the room but this has not affected my feedback, the property is great.

Location and staff were great, cocktails were well made. Hairdryer in the room is very good. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Bed is comfortable and room had lots of storage. Parking is extensive.

We had an early start but breakfast doesn't start until 7 am. It would have been nice to have a reminder ON THE DOOR to the breakfast area.

Akureyri is on a very steep hill. Hotel is at the top of the hill slightly outside of the main centre. Worth considering if mobility is an issue.

A great base for Akureyri, staff were all amazing! Rooms were clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. Bed really comfy.

It was odd that the toilet was in another part of the room, which meant we had to walk around the bed/room between using toilet and showering. The shower didn't drain properly, so the water was pooling quickly.

5-10 minutes walk from the old part of Akureyri. The hotel has free parking. The staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable.
