Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room itself was clean and well-appointed with all the amenities. Although the room was tiny, just enough for one person, it would be way too small for 2 people. The hotel's location was also good, situated in a convenient spot with easy access to Pimlico tube station and walking distance to Buckingham Palace and the city center. Overall, I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling alone for a short stay.

Our safe wouldn't open properly following their directions but the staff provided us with a key for it. Also the window did not open, possibly painted shut? Our first night we woke very hot several times during the night and we couldn't get our thermostat to cool at all. Got help with thermostat next day, then everything was perfect. Safe neighborhood and very walkable. Loved the proximity to 2 underground stations.

United KingdomShower cubicle was really small, I could hardly turn around in it. Which meant that there was no wiggle room for a few seconds to wait for hot water to come out of the shower when turning it on.
The facilities are brand new, nothing is exhausted. Beds, Bathroom and entire room was first class. Rooms cleaned to exceptional clean standards.

GreeceWe were actually placed in a room in the basement, which is probably the case when you book the standard room. But you don't really get the impression of a basement room from the pictures that you see. Also the soundproof of the room was not able to cover the noise from the boiler room, being next to us, or the noise from other guests.
The location of the hotel is really good. You are a few minutes walk from either Pimlico or Victoria stations, which can pretty much take you everywhere. So a good choice if you value staying next to the city centre. You can check in anytime during the night, which is really convenient if you have a late flight. The room and bathroom were clean.
