Incredible location right in front of Kirkjufell! We had an epic show from the Northern Lights

The twin beds were not as comfortable as the other beds.

Location was great. Lots of things included in the kitchen. Hosts were super easy to communicate with and made everything easy for us. We would highly recommend!

Nothing ..this was absolutely perfect.

The location of the house is exceptional. Beautiful surroundings and sights with a view from the house. All of the beds and bedding, couches and dining were very comfortable. We could not have asked for more. Close to restaurants and market.

The shower water was only warm not hot. It would have been very handy if we could access the washing machine and dryer.

The location was superb! Directly across from Kirkjufell Mountain! We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights over the mountain as well! 😍

honestly nothing about the house, 3 of us got sick and needed to chill and just rest and the rain/ wind storm prevented the rest of us from sightseeing on the peninsula except for the waterfalls next to Kirkifell, we did get exceptionally wet, but in Iceland you never know what to expect. All and all it was a lovely stay, I do wish we were able to enjoy the scenery a little more but we will have to save that for the next trip. Wish we had a dryer to dry clothes from all the rain, it would have been nice to warm up.

The house had the most gorgeous views, I fell asleep looking at Kirkifell every night. the horses next door were beautiful. at one point the wind blew the door open, I think someone in my group didn't shut it all the way, but the door blew open and there standing right across were the three horses staring in at us....The house does show wear and tear mostly on the outside, but I believe it's from being on the water. There was a terrible wind/ rainstorm and it was sweet of the owner who called us the next morning to make sure we were ok and that the house was still standing lol....she was a lovely host

Bathroom shower on the small side and a bit pricey (one of our priciest stays in Iceland) though all of Iceland is expensive!

Loved our stay here! Beautiful home with amazing views of the mountain - loved having breakfast and coffee in the dining room - good location to explore other areas.

Stayed here 5 years ago. Price has really gone up. Bathroom is in terrible shape. Whole property needs TLC. Probably will look elsewhere next time

The shower put water all over the floor so we all sacrificed our towel to dry it off.

The most incredible view! You look at Kirkjufell from the house. Lots of birds to entertain you. Very comfortable beds.

The property was perfect and there isn’t a single thing we would change.

This family cottage was perfect in every way. Its location cannot be beat - on the water with a direct view of the mountain. The house was spotless and we could not believe how perfect the house and location were - even better than the pictures.

The arctic terns dive bombing us in what must obviously be their nesting season. Seriously, they didnt cause us a problem, it was just a little surprise. A hot tub would have been wonderful, but then the cost of the property would probably increase to cover this cost.

This property must be one of the best locations to stay anywhere in Iceland. Although the property looks a little tired from the outside and no longer has a hot tub, the interior was really lovely and well equipped. As a family of five, having four bedrooms was really appreciated. Best of all was sitting in the conservatory and taking in the views. Communication with the host (Eva) was really good and the property offered good value for money given the premium location.

use better room darkening blinds in all sleeping rooms, found the blinds in the main bedroom did not darken the room enough for a summer trip, no soap or shampoo provided. For the price this should be supplied.

Two of the heaters did not work and the the house needs better blackout curtains. The bedroom 1 did not have blackout curtains at all. We used bedsheets to darken the room.

late check in at last minute, couldn’t get in to 5 pm after our international flight that day, confusion on how to operate the lock on door, directions on how to operate the stove would be helpful and front panel of bathroom vanity needs to be replaced.
