Room was fine, public spaces a little worn. Construction in front made parking more difficult with fewer spaces. But it was clean, and inexpensive for Reykjavik!!

Some of us would have liked an elevator. The rooms were really small except for 406, a double with private bath that was converted from a quad and spacious for two.

Great location, free parking, good value, rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Checkin was easy with clear instructions. We showed up an hour early and one, there was a person checking the rooms, and two, they said we could check in early. He was very accommodating and even remembered we had asked for a lower floor, thought unfortunately there wasn't anything available.

Water in this place was the worst ever. Hot water smelled strongly of sulfur and even the cold water tasted terrible. Nowhere else we stayed in Iceland, including another place in Reykjavik, was nearly that bad.

It's a very central location right opposite the hotel where you get picked up by the airport shuttle bus (you then change onto another larger bus at the bus terminal). The kitchen is well appointed and you can cook all your meals ther which saves a lot over eating out.

The communal areas need a little updating but it wasn’t a problem for us

There are four floors without an elevator (we had to carry our huge luggage up to the 4th floor). One kitchen is too little for four floors (it gets very crowded in the evening) and the oven is very old (we spent 3 hours baking 3 pizzas). The bathroom is cleaned only once a day!

The hostel is located 700-800 meters from the center, and there is a Bonus store 100-150 meters away! On the third floor, there is a kitchen... The room was clean and spacious, with a sink and mirror inside... the beds were comfortable! It has a few shortcomings, but overall it's great for the money I paid.

Room extremely small, no hangers, noisy works in the surroundings. Kitchen small too, doesn’t have space to sit and eat, have to eat in the tiny room.

There where constructions at the hotel and the parking was very difficult at the time of arrival around 4pm due to the trucks and the construction materials that were taking the parking spaces

Room looked like a hospital room. The kitchen area only has one table - not enough for all the people in the building.

The main gripe was I conducted a specific postcode search this site was "found" in that search, but on arrival found to be in the next postcode.

Clean room, clean kitchen and constant hot water. Did not meet any staff on site. Access controlled main door with room key.

Good location close to the city centre and Bonus. Not bad at all as one of the cheapest options in Reykjavik.

I stayed there with some friends and then booked an extra day. The first place was a shared room with a bathroom. The bathroom was a fun layout that we had a giggle over. The shower wouldn't drain, though. The location is about 15-20 min walk from the main areas. There are scooters everywhere, though, so it's not a huge problem.

Very clean, the cleaning staff are the only ones you will see it's self check-in.The shared showers were very clean. Use the 3rd floor they have more changing room. I think I saw a guy that worked there the first day and last day by chance. The cleaning staff are so nice and do a really good job. There is a good food hall nearby. Flybus and other tours do pick-up at the door or nearby.
