Sound insulation is very bad I happened to heard the room next door doing something, and I heard it clearly. The hot water is not hot Wooden doors are not very flexible Get up early and go out I am worried that the noise I make will affect others.

The apartment is 3* at best. I had v small single room next to the shared bathroom. Noise insulation within the building is non-existent. The combined shower&toilet is shared by 5 bedrooms so 9 people! Bed was OK at best. The one pillow was so knackered I used a rolled up coat under it. Access instructions were ambigous. Access codes in some emails were incorrect. Overall I guess I got what I paid for - it was cheap for a reason. :-(

Fantastic location - just off the main drag for residents & tourists. Loads of food & drink options. Close (5 mins walk) to Bus Stop 6 for airport transfers and excursions. City centre tourist attractions about 10 minutes walk. Kitchen arra useful too. Brilliant :-)

It is somehow a little smelly

Great location in Reykjavik city centre. Easy walk to shops and bars. Little difficult to find the entrance but once inside a cosy shared kitchen. Bathroom to be shared.

Another toilet would be great, because there is only one bathroom with toilet available. There is also no hairdryer if you want to wash your hair it is difficult without a hairdryer, especially for women. I received an old email with an old code. I wrote to the person who gave me the email that I couldn't open the door with the code. Three hours later I received a response saying that I had received an old email. Luckily some woman was there and opened the door for us.

The code for the door was wonky it worked most of the time but when we returned to change our clothes from travel to theatre clothing the code wasn't working at all. Another guest was having the same issue. They called and management said they'd send someone out to fix it but it'd be at least 20 minutes. We forewent changing our clothes and the guest on the phone offered to message us the results. A few minutes later he texted that suddenly it was working fine. No other issues, but it was odd.

Nice sized room. I liked the sink in my room too brush teeth, etc. Spacious WC with plenty of hot water. Great downtown location. Close enough walk to everything downtown yet not loud in the morning! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything to make a nice meal for ourselves. Met a worker, very kind

Facilities were much more minimal than I expected. Tiny bedroom, tiny kitchen, everything looking very worn out. With no staff on site & only one key I was scared of locking myself out.

A single bathroom for all the rooms was a bit of a push but I only had to wait a short while once for access.

The location was perfect and it was surprisingly quiet considering the proximity of the busy areas of town. The room was very nice and comfortable. Self-check-in was simple and worked well.

The location was fantastic, offering convenient access to everything we needed. Our room was on the upper floor, which made it wonderfully quiet, as we couldn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep throughout our stay.

The owner mentioned parking was hard to find, and they are correct. Nothing against the house, just FYI. Like others have mentioned, it was pretty noisy. Someone even looked near the window that was open in the bathroom. I would close windows for privacy. The room also heats up very quickly, again not the end of the world, I woke up in the middle of the night and had to vent the room out.

Easy check in process, bathroom was clean, and nice storage for food in the fridge. Beds were comfy enough (pillows were not as good). Owner gave lots of instructions.
