Don't take that as a complaint because like I said I do enjoy my stay but if there is one thing which can be improved (maybe) it's the size of the shower in the cabin. Thats just a bit small. Off course, I am rather tall but I can't really wash my hair in that shower.

I am a returning visitor in Grasteinn Guesthouse, I enjoyed it 2 years ago.. I enjoyed it now so I knew what to expect. If I ever go to the same region in Iceland I will stay in Grasteinn Guesthouse.

We loved every minute.

A wonderful place to stay. Hildur & Siggi are fantastic hosts. The bedroom is spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. We loved staying on a working farm and enjoyed visiting the sheep with Siggi. Breakfast was delicious with freshly baked bread, smoothies and scrambled eggs with eggs from their own hens. Raudanes is a great place to see puffins.

Hosts, Hildur and Siggi, were so friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, especially the home baked bread and cake!

Such a cute house and room! Room was big and bed was comfy. The husband and wife owning this guesthouse were absolutely wonderful! We recieved an amazing breakfast with homemade fresh bread. Got to say hi to the cute dogs of the farm as well. Would highly reccomend!

Nothing, we loved staying here

Loved the huge bathtub we had in our room Siggi, Hildur and their son were wonderful hosts. The property was absolutely beautiful and we were one of only 2 couples staying with them at the time. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and Hildur bakes her own delicious bread. The night we arrived we were able to use the kitchen to make our dinner as the options in the nearby area were limited. If you are travelling to this part of Iceland, we highly recommend staying here.

I can't think of anything bad to say. It was great!

Breakfast was outstanding. Both types of bread were delicious, as was the homemade pesto. The staff also brought us out fresh-made fruit and Skyr drinks. The room was comfortable, with a nice attached bathroom. The location was convenient for our travels. The internet worked well.

A very peaceful and friendly place run by very nice family. Room clean, beds comfortable. The room has a private and clean bathroom. Breakfast very tasty, prepared by the owner. Unforgettable delicious strawberry mousse! Fantastic place.

Water from the shower pooled on the floor due to poor drainage.

The breakfast was superior. The hostess prepared fresh bread, pastries, and even a smoothie. We also liked the sitting room, where we could have a warm fire. The rooms (2) were very clean and nicely appointed.

EVERYTHING! Our room was gorgeous! Everything was so well thought out and convenient. Even having outlets right next to the beds. The common areas were beautiful and so homie feeling. The people were warm and wonderful and the food they provided was fantastic. The homemade pesto was mind-blowing. I wish we would have had more than one night to stay in this location because we didn't really get a chance to walk around the property. I would highly highly highly recommend staying here to anyone!

The transition to the rooms was through the work clothes of the farm owners and the smell was bad... but we survived... the location of the apartment is isolated and there is nothing around you have to drive about 20 km to a supermarket or a restaurant

The accommodation met our expectations. The owner of the place was waiting for us at the entrance, guided us and prepared us an excellent and satisfying breakfast in the morning! The rooms were good and the beds comfortable.
