Our stay at the cottage was absolutely wonderful. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Its location is also excellent, being close to the airport and offering lovely walks along the coast and near the lighthouses. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location, lots of birdlife near the lighthouse. The communication with Margret was great! She provided all the necessary information a few days before our stay so everything was clear and easy. We enjoyed a quiet night before our early flight next morning. Thank you so much!

The TV did not work and Netflix and alike were not available though promised. We checked in late so by the time we found out the TV issue, it seemed a bit too late to contact the staff for assistance.

My youngest was going to sleep on the couch but there aren’t any window coverings in the living room so she had to share a bed in one of the bedrooms

We had a problem unlocking the door upon arrival and needed assistance from the host. It was quite distressing after a long flight.

The cottage was nicely decorated and reasonably well appointed for a self-catering stay. The location was perfect for exploring the Reykjanes Peninsula by car and was about 10 minutes’ drive from the large supermarkets of Keflavik. It was very peaceful and close to the lovely walking trail to the lighthouse.

We loved the location because we needed a place close to the airport to spend our first night before continuing our road trip. The check in was contactless and went smoothly. We arrived so late that we also saw the northern lights. Thank you for the coffee capsules. Very quiet with plenty of parking.

The sofa bed is kind of hard and maybe to small for two children. Maybe the appartment is ideal for 3 instead of 4.

The location, nearby the airport and in a very nice neighbourhood to go for a walk. Very clean appartment, the owners are super friendly and inform you very well.

While everything is perfect, the place itself is not particularly "idyllic" or "characteristic".

A spacious apartment with easy self check-in, peaceful location close to the sea and easy drive to the airport. Modern, perfectly clean and well maintained "no frills" kind of place.

The door for unit 2 was difficult to lock

The room was well kept, warm, clean, and had all the facilities we needed for a 1 night stay near the airport. It was also quite a remote location and self check in made it easy to access as we needed.

Not sure if the location (probably as near sea) but OMG the wind all night i thought my car was gonna blow away. Not the fault of the hosts tho :-) The bathroom smelt once used. No smell when we arrived but we had a shower and used the toilet and then a sewage type smell lingered. Had to keep the door shut but im not overly fussed and still rate the accommodation it’s cute. The tele was fab but i could only get it in one language and it english. Probably user error but luckily i brought my fire stick which i could switch out for the evening x

Absolutely gorgeous little apartment. Easy access. Close to airport. Cute tea coffee section. TV. Comfiest bed i’ve ever slept on. It’s weird because it’s firm but soft and it’s like it took me as its prisoner. Loved the bed.

The signs that ask guests to do or not do things would benefit from a ‘ please’ The parking should be marked off. We arrived late and 3 was in the space for 2 and 3.
