Very dirty in the bar area, where we ate breakfast. Eg Thick Dust, cobwebs and a draught around the windows. No fresh milk brought to our room, as discussed at check in. Hand cream not dispensing in the bathroom. Empty? Need more shelf space in the bathroom to rest wash bags etc. Had to place them in the toilet… not hygienic.

Staff were lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Loved the overall feel and style of the place and views. Nice fluffy towels. Nice to hand wash and hand cream in the bathroom. However, hand cream wouldn’t dispense. Generous breakfast portions.

Small buffalo in the room above me (3) tramping around all hours of the night.

Superb location, fine Butcombe beers, and the Goram zero is a winner. Large car park for the Tentipi trailer. Very kind and helpful staff

A little dusty between the secondary double glazing and paintwork is a little tired in places but great for the price..

We loved this cosy little Inn and were made to feel very welcome by the staff there. The location is lovely and picturesque. We were able to check in a little earlier on request. The bed was very comfy and a lovely shower. We do plan to visit again and hopefully have more time and better weather to enjothe lovely location.

The only sad thing was we didn’t actually get to stay there! Everything was beautiful and the staff were fantastic, we would definitely return!

Even when there is a problem, it was tended to perfectly. When we arrived there was a gas leak- no fault of their own. This was my mums birthday trip and they went above and beyond to sort it for us and we were moved to their sister hotel at their expense.

Really liked the complimentary organic toiletries in the room as well as the refreshments which included tea and biscuits but different brands to the usual ones found in most other places.. Shower and bathroom both clean. Staff were pleasant and friendly. The vegan breakfast was fantastic. Location also great.

A very comfortable inn and the perfect place to meet up with friends. The staff were very friendly and the quality of the breakfast was superb.

Would prefer double bed not against wall as had to climb out to loo! Plugs either side of bed would have been useful. Stayed Sunday night, kitchen not open Sunday evening but staff did ring us to warn us.

Lovely atmosphere and room. Genuinely dog friendly. Made to feel super welcome. EV charger free and worked beautifully, charged all night (Note Tesla destination charges other cars). Lovely breakfast available until 11am, comfortable bed, nice shower and very friendly service.

Having been told we had to go down to breakfast before 9.45 while on the signage said 7.30 till 11am, we went away to relax not to get up early for breakfast. Did not like the noise from the kitchen extracter fan did not turn off till very late.we like to sleep with a window open, and we were woken up with someone smoking outside our bedroom window.

The bed was very comfy and very dog friendly.the manager was very helpful.she did apologise for the noise and breakfast.

The staff were so accommodating of our toddler and dog. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they helped us any time we needed something. The room was very warm and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Not their fault, but a problem in the kitchen meant no evening meal,(which we knew before we arrived) no fire in the evening and bar shutting at 8pm, as only 3 people in. No milk in room for tea and had I noticed earlier I'm sure we could have got some. They had helpfully booked us in the pub in the village for supper

Easy to find. Great welcome, shown to our room not just pointed in direction of. Room good size for a one night stay, very comfortable. Good parking. Slept well, lovely and quiet. Breakfast was very good, in front of log fire. Would stay again
