We were stranded in the town because of snow. The hotel was ok, nothing exceptional. The staff was very friendly and they were a little overwhelmed by the snow (so all travelers stranded there). However, they managed quite well and overall it was a nice stay. Definitely check out Cafe Cozy when you are there.

The room door kept getting stuck and we struggled several times to open it. The pillows were really thin and offered no support but the friendly girl at the reception desk immediately provided me with a spare when I asked for it. The weirdest thing was the bathroom. It's basically a wet room which isn't necessarily a problem but the layout is bizarre so, rather than having the wet area with the shower in the furthest part of the bathroom, it is located right next to the door and you have to step past it to get to the toilet and the sink. If you have a shower the floor area by the door gets wet and you have to step on the wet floor every time you want to reach the toilet or the sink. I've never seen anything like it before. If I was staying in the area again I would probably try to find somewhere nicer even if it meant paying more money.

If you're looking for a property with a character/charm then this isn't it. It looks like some kind of low rent business centre that was converted into a hotel. The room was adequate and spacious enough. Given the low price per room I wasn't expecting much so I wasn't disappointed. Breakfast was included and it was fine.

The only problem was the flooding shower we had to constantly mop up. The front desk person gave us extra towels for that.

We really enjoyed Reydarfjordur and the surrounding area. The hotel's breakfast was very good, with a variety of food - hard-cooked eggs, cold cuts, fresh veggies, and good cookies we saved for later. The beds were comfy, the room was quiet, and check-in & check-out were easy.

The hotel is a little older, but still in good condition.

The room was clean and warm. After a long day on an icy road, just what we needed. The breakfast is self service and is very well arranged. It had everything that we needed and then some more.

The hotel is outdated. Poor beds and a basic breakfast. Was there for only one night, but I wouldn't stay longer than that. To expensive for what you're getting.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating. It’s nice they serve breakfast and have a bar for anyone who wants to ring a place to hang out late evening.

Not much to eat in the town for dinner, had to drive to the next town

It was nice we were able to rent a single night, most places were two night minimum or much more expensive. Having a private bathroom was great!!

Staff was great. There wasn't a fridge in the room but they let us use a fridge in the kitchen. Check-in and check-out was easy even though we arrived 22:00 on a friday.

This hotel recently changed ownership and names! We were told we were the 4th group to stay under new management! The rooms and building are freshly renovated. And the staff is outstanding!
