The hostel is equipped with all basic amenities. Not just that, it has facilities which were above our expectations. A fully functional huge bread toaster, steamer and what not. Highly recomend this place for a cozy and comfortable stay.

Television unfortunately didn't work and I couldn't figure out how to fix it.

Surprisingly cute and contemporary design. A very spacious common area with a big kitchen area. The location is great and they even had discount offers for local places. The bakery for which a discount was provided was so goos. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality.

The door locking electronic mechanism is totally automatic, and so very prone to failure. We had a lot of trouble trying to open the 2nd floor door and had to use another door to enter the building. Not an hostel problem, but other guests didn't always clean after themselves in the bathroom.

Modern and well equipped hostel in the centre of Akureyri. A good ratio of bathrooms to rooms. Large and well-equipped kitchen. We were offered a discount cuppon to a nice bakery (although it's a bit further away than just "in front").

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It has a self check in, there is so warm and cozy inside , also we got amazing view and right in that place catches our first Aurora😍 Comfy kitchen with a lot of cutlery, there is everything you need. Even if the bathroom is not on the room - it is so clean and stylish, with a lot of towels. Highly would recommend this place!

The bathroom in our room could use a face lift. Self checkin is convenient but the lock on the main door didn’t really work so took a while until we figured out how to unlock it. There could be more kettles in the shared kitchen as it was pretty crowded there in the morning and there was just one.

We stayed in the double room with bathroom. It was tiny but not a problem for one night. The hostel interior looks recently renovated so everything is clean and modern.

The rooms and the hotel in general are very clean and comfortable. There is everything you need for a good stay. All the equipment in the kitchen was very useful. One more plus is self check-in. We were satisfied with our stay.

Only gripe is access to the building and rooms. They are controlled through a keypad and PIN but are extremely temparemtal. Management even note at the entrance that several attempts to enter may be needed. This is not acceptable.

Excellent location. Good facilities (kitchen, dining, bathrooms). Very quiet, even though the hostel was busy. Bonus supermarket 400m away. Beds were comfortable.

The outside door keypad was temperamental- only worked for us once that night- other time folks inside let us in. They need to get a better keypad for outside doors

Kitchen is too small for the amount of people that this accommodation holds. Before arriving at the accommodation, we called to ask if there was an oven, in which they said that there was. However unfortunately there wasn't. Only a space for one! It made cooking our pizzas difficult, especially since we were a family of 8 persons!

Rooms are beautiful and parking free. The whole acccommodation is beautiful and very well set out.

The hostel recommends a local bakery for breakfast, which is very good; it is well visited by the locals. Regarding the accommodation, although we did not have a bathroom, there were plenty available for the morning shower.
