The room didn't have a proper locker. And my bed was on the upper bunk, but one of the steps to climb the bunk were broken.

I liked the location and the people. It was close to the meadows. The food was delicious.

Roads leading up to the property are in a very dilapidated condition. Consider hiring a taxi, a 4x4 vehicle or any SUV with good ground clearance.

It's location, management and food. Atmosphere is lovely and vibe is amazing. Can include more fun activities like Table Tennis.

The Outer Area Of the zostel-The light in some of the common area is not working,it's not looking same as shown in the picture at night,need more lights to make it look more lively.

Staff services were superb & the food was good & we made new friends over there.

Food can be better but still the service was quick.

one of the best experience I had with the zostel shangarh. Room was just perfect with the mountain view. Amazing collab with the zostel volunteer Jay and it was one of the memorable trip I had. Definitely recommended without any doubt. Don't go with the reviews complaining about the road to the zostel, it is one of the beautifull village you can expect a bit of offroad but once you reach it is totally worth it. I travelled solo on my bike and it was fun.

It’s a different vibe all together. The food, the people are too warm, good and will absolutely make you feel at home. Special thanks to Annie and Vrishti for making my stay so comfortable and easy. Also, do not forget to try different items from their kitchen, you will thank me later! ;)

- Cafe can start a bit earlier in morning as there's nothing else nearby. It usually starts at 8am. - A bit difficult for non smokers as you'll be passive smoking in common areas. - Did not get any clarity on how the laundry works in 5 days.

- Amazing Location - Good food in cafe - Full floor of common space and lots of open areas. - Best place for a workation. Property has a good wifi with 15 - 20 Mbps speed. Apart from that, you'll get good 4g network too. - The cafe staff is extremely hard working and courteous and always serve with a smile. - Bonfires are arranged in evening.

Everything was good....a hot cup of hot beveragei in the mornings...tge chef wud cone in a Lil late. Alternatively kettles n dip teas etc coffee sache etc in the rooms.

The dreamy Zostel in Shangarh! A place in the interiors of Himachal, unknown to many, is a beautiful village called Shangarh nestled in Sainj Valley.. The Zostel is placed right at the centre of the village and offers beautiful and satisfying energies around you.. You heard it right, beautiful and satisfying energies.. It’s not only the views which defines this Zostel, but the way you feel here, the way you spend your days, the way you get closer to self at this place are some of the other things… Right from the two amazing dogs at the property to the delicious paratha with a garma garam chaai, you feel there’s a difference in all these common things. Something makes it all uncommon.. That’s where I mentioned, energies .. The host is so good and greets you with her smile.. The entire team at the property offers you with all the help you need..
