Varkala Villa Mandala is a peaceful haven of calm. The design is carefully thought out, and well cared for. We were able to relax deeply. Its location is perfect to rest & replenish. We walked to the beach & swam in the sea before sunset each evening. The food was fresh & delicious. We left feeling thoroughly nurtured and it was just what Staff's were great.Thankyou Matthew and Annie for wonderful Hosting.

Great Home stay with comfy bed private bathroom and balcony. Shared kitchen where one can have unlimited coffee & tea. Simple breakfast where the menu gets changed with seasonal fruits. Great host and close proximity to many attractions. Mine 4 days went fast . I did even enjoy heavy rainfall which was pouring intermittently.

Sweet housekeeper, simply amazing host. The best I've met on my travels. Kim has the kindest energy and is super helpful. It is the warmest welcome in Varkala. His guesthouse is tranquil. His new place is a castle with a lot of eye for detail. Could not recommend more!

All the prime locations are within walking distance. And if you need anything... say a contact for an ayurvedic massage, or scooty rentals or anything, then Kim (the host) is your man. He is very energetic, always around to help. We used to go surfing in the morning and after coming back, having their homemade breakfast used to be heavenly. Their homestay is so well kept and beautiful. The househelps are so kind and always catered to whatever we needed. So if you are in Varkala, this is the place to stay.

In a quiet neighbourhood, but only 15 mins walk to the North cliff area. Kim the host is fantastic ! We only had two nights there as that was all that was available, then Kim recommended a place in South cliff also fantastic.

The price of the property is a bit high maybe we stayed during Christmas.

The property is super clean, spacious, homely and well maintained. You'll get a lot of good vibes. The washrooms were clean and towels were neat. Breakfast in the morning is too good. They give authentic Kerala food and quantity is sufficient.

The only downside was the location. For us not much of an issue as we like walking and was a good 20 min to thr beach. Easily done in a tuk tuk mind. Would deffo stay again though.

The host Kim was lovely and very helpful. We could tell he wanted everything to be just right. The house is immaculate and absolutely lovely with a stunning upstairs balcony overlooking the trees. Breakfast was also great. Fresh fruit, hot drink and a different hot course every day.

The location was little bit far away from restaurants, but I loved the tranquility of the neighbourhood. Not touristic area. Still easy to walk or go by riksha/scooter.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful owner and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of Villa. Everything about the villa was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had breakfast. Breakfast was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

I don't think there is something I didn't liked.

It was really an amazing stay, I have visited first time to varkala but I got memories for long time both with the place and stay, especially host. Room was very clean and hygienic along with beautiful furniture. Villa Mandala is situated in very quite place which gives best way to experience peace. Host was superb I can say like got a new friend in varkala🥳🤗. Everything is so amazing, loved it.
