Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesLoved everything! Great location, value and service!
Govind was the most amazing host. He helped us get rides, set up a pocket wifi for us to borrow, was present to help us when we left and arrived. We felt like royalty having someone always there for us and more importantly someone who genuinely wanted to help us. He was great playing with our little kids and not intrusive at all. Noticed not a lot of Western tourists in the guesbook and that’s a real shame.

the butler Govind, is incredible and facilitied us all related to Jaipur. The breakfast was the best in our trip in India with differents and exotic fruits daily. Also the boss, Mr. Singh was very warm even receiving us in his big house with his family. A true indian gentleman.

Excellent rooms, very clean. Mr Govind was an exceptional care taker and kept room clean and helped us. Both me and my husband felt very happy staying in the place as rooms are beautiful. The location is also at a good place from many important landmarks for visiting such as Hawa Mahal, City palace and market.

United StatesThis hotel location is not good. You have to walk through local dirty narrow alleys, went on a dirty narrow staircase, and very difficult to find. But they gave us a palace like huge beautiful room, offered free breakfast, with good service. But I would not stay here again.

United KingdomThe WiFi in the bedroom is patchy, although fine in the rest of the property. The mattresses are soft (but that's a matter of taste) and due to the location the bedroom doesn't have any external windows, which can feel odd even though it's enormous! It's very hard to find, down an alley and up some stairs, so you do need to coordinate your arrival with Govind. It's not the owner's fault at all but worth noting the restaurant which owns the beautiful roof terrace featured in the photos is currently closed due to Covid restrictions, and it's not clear when or if it will reopen. As mentioned above, if you like other people around and/or don't like having a very attentive chaperone, this may not be for you.
It's important to note this is a single property, more like an AirBnB than a hotel (Booking.com gives multiple room rates for some reason which suggests there is more than one room), and it has a live-in member of staff permanently on hand (Govind). It is a great place, beautifully decorated, and Govind and the manager are both super helpful; but it's definitely more suitable for a family stay than a solo/couple one, in my opinion, as it can feel like you have no real privacy. It's right in the heart of the old town near the City Palace so very conveniently located, as long as you're prepared for the buzz of an Indian city centre! Govind prepares a great breakfast on request.

South Koreanothing. it was perfect.
Our couple had a happy experience being welcomed here. The room was very spacious and clean. decorated with beautiful traditional furniture and textiles. Govin, a hotelier, is very kind and polite. He gave us helpful information on our trip. The breakfast I ordered was also prepared in a nice place. This accommodation is so close that you can enjoy Jaipur's attractions on foot, and you can feel the tradition.

IndiaThe property cannot be easily identified by a first timer. If something can be done at the main road entrance to make it more conspicuous esp. around cleanliness, it will be great. The elevator can be missed easily as well and the switch of the elevator on the 2nd floor (where the villa is located) was broken.
1. Govind. He is such an amazing person and gives more than 100% towards hospitality and comfort of the guests. He made our stay so convenient and even helped us in local shopping, among many other things. 2. The villa. You would get the entire villa to yourself and there is no one else to bother you. The bedroom is a masterpiece. I have never stayed at such a huge room before. It was such a relaxing and royal stay. I would like to visit again with my family. Last and not the least, you can visit the below places walking or just by taking a rickshaw/auto. a) City Palace b) Isarlat Sargasooli c) Jantar Mantar d) Hawa Mahal e) Johri Bazar f) Bapu Bazar g) Tripolia Bazar
