Excellent hotel in the city side of Jaisalmer. Owner and staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and clean. With a large, comfy bed with duvet and cold A/C. Bathroom clean, with good water pressure. They organised a Safari Tour which was great. Highly recommend this property if visiting Jaisalmer.

Living up to its name, the secret house is charming. They gave me all kinds of facilities and help. Excellent location to walk to the most touristic places and easy location. Cleanliness was taken care of in detail throughout the hotel. The dinner I requested upon arrival, the best of my trip, tasted like home. Wifi without problems for teleworking. 100% recommendable. Thanks aju for making my stay memorable

Spotless, clean and comfortable rooms , tasteful decor - wonderful view of fort and great food at very reasonable prices. Booked all 7 rooms for my guests. Best hotel in Rajasthan and I booked 9 hotels . Staff also very helpful. Lovely complimentary drinks . What's not to like. Almost dont want to praise it too much or their prices will go up and I'll be returning with another group...but they deserve it.

We liked everything about this property. It’s a lovely spotlessly clean hotel in a fab location. Our room was bright and airy and the bed was really comfortable. The roof terrace is amazing. We had breakfast up there and also late night drinks. All the staff were super helpful, but a special mention to Kapil who went out of his way to make sure our stay was wonderful.

The road to access the hotel not the best, but all right for Indian style. Anyway it is safe to walk around. No problem.

Thanks Aju, for everything. Staff very kind and helpful! We would go again. Nice building, rooms and rooftop. Terrace on the top is so relaxing, with a view of the fort! The shower has very hot water. They do laundry A walking distance from the walls and the fort. There are shops and restaurants and pastries around.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were fantastic! They let me keep my bag at the hotel after I had checked out and while I went on an overnight desert safari, and offered me a shower the following day. The rooftop terrace is cosy with a great view of the fort, and a nice bit of calm away from the street below. The food was tasty and good value. I highly recommend Secrets House! 10/10

Loved everything.

If you looking for a fantastic stay in Jaisalmer, The Secret House is the one! Naru, the owner is amazing and he came to our aid when our flight out of Jaisalmer was cancelled twice! He organised a taxi to drive us 5 hours to Jodhpur airport so we could catch a flight from there! And also arranged an early breakfast for us free of charge so we could leave the haveli early in the morning. I have never experienced such fantastic hospitality like this anywhere! His Haveli is beautiful and the staff amazing and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. He also agreed to let us store our luggage at his haveli when we went on a camel safari. If I could give him a rating of 11 out of 10 I would! Thank you Naru for your kindness!

Loved everything

We loved our stay at the Secret House! It is a beautifully decorated haveli and Naru, the owner welcomed us with a beautiful flower threaded necklace. As we were going on a desert safari the next day, he kindly agreed to let us leave our main bags at the haveli, to collect on our return. His other staff members were fantastic as well, with one of them waking up especially early on the morning of the camel safari to help us get ready. All in all their warmth and kindness cannot be faulted.

The property was adorable, the staff was very helpful and great. The rooms were exactly like the pictures, just perfect and like what we pictured and the terrace was just a gem! Absolutely recommend this!

Food was ok but quite simple and pricy

Aju made the experience amazing. He was always there when we needed something and even took us to a pharmacy when one of us had a small injury. He is a gem. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and we found it very beautiful. Location is only 15 min walk from the fort, in a quiet street. Great view on the fort from the rooftop.

I chose this place to stay based on reviews and I must say I made the right choice. I enjoy cozy and quiet places. This is an adult only place with 7 rooms - well designed and perfect for a quiet get away. My hosts Aju and Kapil are now my friends. Aju had made very tasty dinner for us on demand and Kapil accompanied us to visit different monuments and fort. They were attentive and went out of their way to make our stay memorable and comfortable. I would visit again just to meet them and chat with them. Lovely rooftop setup for breakfast/lunch/dinner and food is prepared on demand. Place is in close vicinity from fort and other landmarks.

Such a great hotel! The rooms are beautifully decorated and perfectly clean, the roof top terrace has an amazing view, breakfast and dinner were delicious. You don’t need to book anything in advance as Nehru is amazing helping you with your plans - we did a city tour, safari, and he helped us find a great driver for the rest of our travels in Rajasthan.

The property itself is very nice and in walkable distance to all that Jalsaimer has to offer. Naru, the owner, was very helpful during our stay and helped arrange desert safari and provided food recommendations for restaurants. All of this staff were also very polite. Interesting ambience. From incense drifting up the stairwell to muted chanting in the background. Shoes off at the entrance meant for a spotless environment. Staff were particularly pleasant. Attractive atmosphere.

The Secret House in Jaisalmer, and it is certainly "a best kept secret"!! The moment you step inside this wonderful boutique style hotel, you know you are staying in a truly beautiful house. Managed and owned by Nehru, a magnificent host that takes care of its guests with great care and attention. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a unique style, with luxury touches, incredibly comfortable beds with feather duvets,24h hot shower,crisp white walls and luminous. The Secret House has the most magical Rooftop café with amazing unrivalled views to the Fort..sipping tea at sunset or enjoying a homemade-on-the spot lunches or dinners is truly recommended. The whole House has an intimate serene ambiance, with gorgeous smelling incense and background Tibetan chant music, that totally soothes your senses, after a hectic and chaotic daytrip un the city. It is situated only 5 minutes away from the heart of the Old City, by tuk tuk. Also the cleanliness os top notch! Always overlooked by Nehru, who is a charming host, and assists with all your queries, may it be booking tours, trains or genuine recomendations.

Amazing hotel with fabulous rooms and great service. We couldn’t have been more comfortable here. We were given great recommendations and was organised a heritage walking tour. Breakfast was very good up on the rooftop with great choice and amazing coffee! The room was incredible, beautifully decorated and very clean. Great location Jaisalmer, with a very good quality of facilities . The rooms are very nice with a big private toilet. All hotel is very clean. It has a rooftop with views to the fort and all the city. The rooftop has also an area with A/C. The breakfast is awesome, need to highlight the pancakes with honey and lemon and the tomato and cheese sandwitch. For dinner, we tried theor Thali and it was exceptional. The service is very nice and kind. The owners are a couple that will make you feel like at home. They also offer excursions with guide to the fort, safari by the desert and cooking classes. We have enjoyed a lot and will repeat this hotel for sure!
