Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesNothing to Dislike.
Our stay at The Royal Hermitage, Jaipur was nothing but Amazing! And it was so, because of the great hospitality offered by Shivya, the owner and her team, Sagar and Ashish. They were super corporative, very friendly and constantly willing to go extra mile to make our stay even more comfortable. The property itself is beautiful. We were upgraded to the The Lion Suite, their most popular room. It had great interiors, a super comfortable bed, and all the quality amenities we needed. For the breakfast, they are very flexible. We would inform Sagar, the head chef, about what we want to eat and at what time the night before, and Sagar would prepare it fresh for us in the morning. I must reiterate, I have never experience this level of personalized hospitality in all my many travels. I wholeheartedly recommend this amazing property if you are visiting Jaipur. Thank you Shivya and team! All the best!

SingaporeIt does not offer 5 star facilities that one might expect. It is a heritage building with limitations, which were known to us beforehand.
Nice location in the Civil Lines area - cafes are within walking distance. Attention to detail at the property is high and this makes you feel like stepping into a different world. Spotting peacocks on our first morning helped a lot. Most amazing were the staff - individual requests were fulfilled and they were very attentive throughout.

United KingdomThe property was perfectly placed in Jaipur for travelling around the city, and right by the train station for our onward travels. The whole place was absolutely spotless, it couldn’t have been cleaner! Everywhere also smelt amazing. The decor was bright and colourful with every amenity you could want. The bed and pillows must get a shoutout for making the most comfortable place we may have stayed. The staff and owners were so attentive and so friendly, advising us with travel and places to eat. We had breakfast at the Royal Hermitage both morning and wow, what a delicious Indian breakfast spread, fuelling us perfectly for our day ahead. The team were so friendly and nothing was ever too much. If you’d like to learn more about where you’re staying and feeling like a home away from home, this is the place for you. I would recommend to any friend or family member looking for an authentic stop in Jaipur.

This hotel is a wonderful find. The attention to detail is amazing. Amyt and Shivya have thought of everything. We had a lovely welcome with drink. The decor and interior is amazing. The room was a great size and the bedding and pillows were so soft with a very comfortable bed and large TV. We relaxed watching Netflix after our tour! The food was excellent, compliments to the chefs and breakfast was laid out so beautifully. It was a very relaxing and comfortable stay and we would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

IndiaI loved everything about the property literally cannot fault anything. stay was perfect.
I recently stayed at The Royal Hermitage Jaipur, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The attention to detail in the hall and the rooms decor was impressive, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The staff members were incredibly courteous and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The amenities were top-notch. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this exclusive property to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Special thanks to its Owner Mr Amyt, seldom you see owner of the hotel to be greeting customers and taking personal interest to see their comfort and well being. Also generous room upgrade was provided. A big shout out to the wonderful staff. It felt like i was at home. Everybody was so professional and friendly. Food was top notch! I could personally complement the cook. I would not call it a boutique Hotel, its your own home in Jaipur which is exceptionally beautiful, super spotless.

United States of AmericaWe loved everything!
My daughter and I stayed at this lovely hotel when we were in Jaipur for a wedding. Amyt and Shivya were amazing hosts!! They were so thoughtful, helpful and lovely. We could not have picked a better boutique hotel to stay at for our time in town. The breakfast was delightful and so good, and the local tips were great. I highly recommend booking the Royal Hermitage for your stay in the beautiful pink city of Jaipur!

IrelandThe only down-side of the property is outside of the hotels control. Unfortunately, the local train service travels close by and the drivers insist on blasting their horns throughout the night. We mentioned this to Amyt and Shivya and they reassured us that they are working on sound-proofing the hotel so it does not disturb future guests. In the meantime, it is nothing a pair of ear plugs can't fix!
The service was exceptional - Amyt, Shivya and their staff made us feel welcome and like part of the family. They went above and beyond throughout our whole stay and we would be delighted to stay with them again. The food prepared for us was exceptional. We had breakfast every day in the hotel and the on site chef made us a different culinary delight each day. Everyday was something new to try and we chatted with Amyt and Shivya throughout Bbreakfast, planning our itineraries for the day which was really helpful. The decor was one of a kind. Amyt has curated an interesting blend of western European meets Indian interiors based on his previous travels. The end result is eclectic luxury.

A beautiful boutique style hotel in a calm location in the heart of the city. Perfect for visiting all the sights. Run by a father and daughter, the level of service and personal attention was outstanding. Small number of stylish rooms gave the hotel a B&B feel. The food was delightful, prepared by the hotels private chef. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
