Beautiful location. A nice villa can be booked full of individual rooms. Right on the Rohtak - Atal tunnel highway. Walking distance from vasishta kund. Very warm and caring host. A live place for a peaceful vacation.

Cleanliness of the room and common preparing of the room. Bed linen and towels must be clear. This is not a transfer place as a many "hotels" in Indian cities. Tourists want to live up to week and maybe more in such beautiful place.

The services provided could have been better.

It’s a nice little cottage with a view of the river and a bit of the snow capped mountains. The garden in the front is beautiful and a nice way to unwind.

Attitude of the staff provided. Food serving times. Parking is a huge headache. Especially if you have large SUVs. We booked 3 rooms, they didn't provide amenities in one room.

Cottage looks nice. A breath of fresh air from regular hotel rooms. Rooms are nice with balconies having good views. Indoor fire place is a bonus.

Nothing like that but yes it’s on the way to Solang valley so sometimes you might find a little more traffic on the way but that anyways one will find during season time

One of the best home stays I have stayed in .The location of this place is awesome .i could see the snow capped mountains,a small waterfall ,apple trees and the river flowing down .It was just like home away from home . Certainly very peaceful and I enjoyed a lot of time away from the hustle bustle . The house help ‘mani ‘ bhaiya was extremely helpful and a very happy person as well . I guess his behaviour was so good that I wanted to extend my stay for 2 more days . If you want to really have a good time mostly peaceful then I would recommend you this place .

I recently stayed at Tales and Trail, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Throughout my stay, the manager repeatedly asked me to change rooms to accommodate other guests, despite the fact that I had already settled into my original room. This was extremely inconvenient and disruptive, as I had to pack up all my belongings and move to a new room multiple times. Moreover, the manager's attitude was quite dismissive and unapologetic, as if it was perfectly normal for guests to be inconvenienced in this manner. I found this behaviour to be unprofessional and disrespectful, and it made me feel like my comfort and satisfaction were not a priority. To make matters worse, the rooms themselves were not worth the exorbitant price I paid for them. The shower was not working . I could hear everything happening in the hallway and adjacent rooms,which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. People party and have dinners in the hall way and play music at night. This is so inconsiderate towards other guests. What's even more frustrating is that there are much cheaper places to stay in Manali that offer better value for money. I could have easily found a place that's just as comfortable and convenient, if not more so, at half the price. Overall, I would not recommend staying at Tales and Trail, as the service and accommodations are subpar and the management does not seem to value their guests' experience. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for better options in Manali.

They didn’t give us the bill, and on kaccha bill they added gst and service charge. There was no kettle in the room. Food was delivered very inappropriately and took hours to reach us. The room wasn’t clean. The sheets were not clean.

Unprofessional hotel staff. A very good example of a very bad hotel Hotel personal gave our confirmed room to some one else and told us to book some where else. Tried calling booking .com site as well they didn't support us either. one of the worst experience in my life. .Staff are terrible....front desk guys were worst and indifferent..i went with family and they have no consideration...rooms are worst quality. . I have honestly never been anywhere and met such rude two faced staff before u make a booking please make ensure your keys are mailed to u. otherwise u can too stuck in similar situation.

we suffered irritating sleep in last night due to bachelors party in neighbouring room from 1 to 3:39am in night, that not controlled by local staff. but owner response is very expected and stopped immediately after our personal call you want to take meal you should order 2 hrs early.
