Location is quite and calm. No DJs and loud music, good for family visit. The place is vast and staff are polite. Camel ride and jeep ride included in our room rent. Definitely recommended..

Peace and quiet, friendly helpful staff, provided entertainment which made a nice evening. Good dinner and breakfast, plenty of variety. Tea coffee making facilities in the room and a heater which we needed. Very clean, comfy beds. Nice setting. They arranged Camel ride to watch sunset which was good value money and the guy and his nephew who owned the were lovely. A really relaxing enjoyable stay . Thank you.

Fantastic experience. The camp is located away from the main cluster of desert camps. The tent is spacious and clean. Both air con and heating are available. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and even went out of their way to make non spicy food for my children. Excellent experience.

There’s nothing to not like about this ! It’s brilliant .

This is a wonderful camp located in the Sam sand dunes ! The property is beautiful , the tents are huge size and comfortable . Best part is the tents are not too close to each other so you also have a sense of privacy whilst enjoying the desert camping. The staff is very very courteous. Rabhu Khan and his colleagues who manage the property are very polite , soft spoken, and courteous. The food is good too. Rabhu and his team went extra mile to arrange fruits for our daughter as we were traveling next day and it was a long distance travel. Thanks for making our stay comfortable and memorable trip. Value for money!

There could've been more options for food. We stayed for 2 nights and the menu was same both days for breakfast and dinner. Lunch was not included and we requested for chicken biryani which they served. Cultural activities were same on both days with no variation. Wifi is not available in desert.

The tents were clean and spacious, uninterrupting hot water which was much needed in the cold weather and warm attitude of the staff. They also arranged the desert rides and arranged cots outside our tents for star gazing. The area around is also quite peaceful with clean sand inside the property.

Helsinki Desert Camp is a very comfortable, away from the crowds camp in the that desert. The food and the cultural show were very pleasant and we enjoyed an evening underneath the stars on the beautiful property very much. Staff was really nice, always trying to accommodate all our wishes.

The property is actually located in desert. The hospitality offered was commendable. The tents are kept clean and the bathrooms are also well kept. The food was also very good. Overall very good experience.

There needs to be more signage for directions since it is around 3.5km inside from the main road. Google maps does not really point to the shortest and best route. We lost our way a couple of times but if you are with a local driver that may not be an issue. Some stretches of the road are quite bad but that’s to be expected in a remote place like this. The jeep safari was quite expensive , it is a tourist area so again expected but for what you get it’s a lot.

In a sea of desert camps crammed together this is quite secluded from the rest. There are in all only about 11 tents in about huge space. Most other desert camps in the area cram similar number of tents in a much smaller space. The staff is very friendly and prompt. They helped us when we lost our way a couple of times and sent someone to guide us. The dinner spread was huge with a traditional Rajasthani spread. Even though we were the only ones on one night they still conducted their cultural programme, that was really nice of them. They had switched off the lights at night for us to do some star gazing and also arranged a candle lit dinner for us, it was very sweet of them. It is a desert camp so sand, some bugs and dust are part of life , that is true for every place there.

If you like quads go in Africa don't try It here 😂 they don't let you ride and you pay a lot. But this is not a service of the structure.

Everything's wonderful in Helsinki Desert Camp! Best food that we ever had in India after two weeks around Delhi, Goa, Varanasi,... Best experience in desert (only camp to be actually on the sand). Dinner was amazing, with other people and musicians! Must be a stop of your trip in India!

The staff at Helsinki are fantastic. Really accommodating and polite. We had a really fun time with the desert activities and just walking around the dunes. This is a more private location so you really feel alone. Incredibly comfortable bed and great hot water.
