Sometime Internet Wifi was very slow Peoples at reception pushing you to evaluate "rigt now" the hotel when you check out. This is something I refused. Same "concept" on the spa. I feel a little bit pressure that I don't like

We managed mostly to get by without air conditioning but in the summer months it would be a big issue. Also not able to avail of alcohol in the restaurants was let down. A cold beer after an outing in the heat would be a great bonus!

A la Carte food was generally very good. Buffet was a mixed bag. No air conditioning and no alcohol availability were a let down. The staff were very courteous and always trying their best to help. Our friends had to drop out due to ill health at the last minute and the hotel were very kind and supportive in agreeing to cancel their booking at this late stage without charges. The ayurvedic massage in the spa were fantastic.

We liked everything.

The location was fantastic. The food was very delicious kudos to the chef Shiva. He was on the floor checking everyone with their food. We just had a tiny bit of spice in our food and he replaced the whole dish. It’s a must comeback hotel for us.

I had a wonderful stay at the Amber Dale Hotel in Munnar. The standout feature of this establishment is undoubtedly its exceptional staff. Two things that bothered us: 1. Need A/C in the rooms. The afternoon sun warms up the rooms quite a bit and there is no cross-ventilation to cool the rooms in the evenings. 2. The road access is pretty bad. There is enough traffic and demand for the property owners to pave the road.

Great Breakfast and Dinner Buffet. Wonderful service. The views from the rooms are superb, and quaint.

The cut road leading to the hotel was pathetic and in the worst condition. You wouldn't want to visit there simply because of this reason. Even with an SUV, we felt each and every stone in the road. Although the location in Google Maps is accurate, we couldn't find a single name board of the hotel on the cut road and had to ask a local guy at a junction for the direction. Also, the wifi coverage inside the room was pathetic and we had to literally use mobile data throughout the stay. Good thing, the staff came to check the issue.

The staffs were courteous and the view from the room was excellent. The rooftop terrace view is awesome. Served good food at in-house restaurant.

Well, the room was not clean,, for example the curtains had stains, cake residue on the fridge, cigarette dust on the terrace, and the curtain was missing on our terrace! They clean only after I show them the issues. This is unexpected from a five star resort!

Only the approach road to the hotel from the main road is not good, it gets tricky sometimes to drive on it. It will be very slippery during rainly season.

Breakfast had a nice spread of food items, indian and english. The view from the room was just fabulous. Had a great spa session, staff was friendly and explained everything on arrival. Overall the stay was great

I had a Mountain View room, which was a bit noisy during daytime, as the entrance is below.

The Hotel is amazing if you have a room looking to the valley. If the room looks to the mountain, then the view is not as perfect. Unfortunately they don't serve alcohol in the hotel in any form, but they were nice and let us bring our own, even they cooled it down for perfection.
