Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelHotel is located in a residential area so no places to go other than in tuktuk or taxi.
Everything was perfect !!! This hotel gives you the feeling of being in a palace. The decoration and uniqueness of each room and corridor is something we never see in any place. The staff is amazing and the two drivers Salman and Jamil made our three days stay an unforgettable experience!! Very quiet and away of city noise.

TaiwanOriginally we booked for one night and asked for extension for one more day. The staff of the night shift, Ajay, told us that it wouldn’t be a problem for booking one more night with the same room, and I could proceed the extension the next day morning even though I originally insisted on paying right away. HOWEVER, on the next day, we’re being told by the day shift girl that the same room we want had been booked from someone else. It’s not professional for Ajay to promise extensions in the first place and we have to find another hotel because other rooms in the same hotel are more expensive……
Each room and floor has different themes. The room is clean and comfortable.

South AfricaNone. Even if I think hard I don’t think I will be able to find anything that I didn’t like about the property
When I was searching for hotels in Jaipur I came across this property. Liked the pictures so I went ahead and booked it. But when I arrived I realized that the place looked much better than on the pictures. Absolutely loved the decor, the art in the room, the neatness, the friendly staff. Really enjoyed my stay.

ItalyNothing - only a bit of noise around the area during the day. This is in a family area where the entrance gate closes at night
The building and the rooms are stunning! Each room and floor are different and so nice. Staff took care of us, they satisfied our asks also for the room and arranged for the dinner with a tuk tuk they brought us to the peacock restaurant in their twin hotel. Food was amazing - both dinner at peacock and breakfast that was served in the room (you can order it the night before from a menu and they will deliver it to you). Need to say: I was worried because it was a 3 star hotel but reading previous reviews I decided to book it and I would make the same choice again! It is much better than 4 and 5 star hotels where we have been in India with an unbeatable price/quality ratio

United KingdomNo restaurant on site, though the sister hotel the Peacock 200 metres away did make up for that.

United KingdomWe didn't get good quality sleep because the local dogs kept fighting loudly during the night!!
This hotel was gorgeous! It was an easy walk from the train station when we arrived into Jaipur. The traditional design and style of the room was so beautiful, it was a good size and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was good, had to choose items the night before, not a buffet. We visited the rooftop of the sister hotel about 2 blocks away which was also lovely and there are a couple of other good eateries nearby. The hotel arranged a driver for the day to take us out to the Amber Fort etc. And there is a tuk tuk driver employed by the hotel so always out the front if you need a ride.

United KingdomIt is exactly as you see on the photos, full-on elaborate features in the communal spaces and the rooms. Breakfast was by selection from a menu the night before, and for our simple needs it was really good.

TaiwanThe 1st floor is dark. And the room is also dark. The decorations in the room are stone statue which feel a bit horror at night. We requested to switch a room when check in but didn’t be accepted. I still took the room but regretted at midnight. :/
The design of each floor and each room is cool.

United KingdomI feel that more helpful information from reception would have been useful. I don't always want to rely on tripadvisor as local knowledge is often more rewarding. Also, I didn't realise the room wouldn't be cleaned during our stay.
I loved this small hotel, it was wonderfully quiet, fantastically decorated, great breakfast too. The rooms were large, and the bathrooms were clean and functional. The addition of room service is a bonus. The wonderful Peacock restaurant is actually on the roof of their sister hotel, but you do get a complimentary tuk tuk there and back. There is also a great bar on the second floor which you will miss if you take the lift!

Beautiful heritage property in a quiet neighborhood with the kindest staff you will ever meet. Food is brought from their sister property as there is no restaurant in this one, but quality of the food and breakfast were excellent.

NetherlandsThere are limited facilities in the hotel like restaurant or bar, but for short visit to Jaipur and spending time in this amazing room you don't need that.
Rooms are exception, every room is different with different theme. We expressed our choices but all rooms were already taken. We got a lovely room with small balcony. Room was very big and bathroom was huge (size of a regular room in other hotels. Owners still lives in the hotel on the first floor. Staff was very friendly there is only no real restaurant but on first floor some arrangement is made for tables for breakfast. Great staff

BelgiumNot a buffet for the breakfast and we needed to order the evening before, but the food was tasty !
Big room with a lot of space and nice decorations in the rooms and hotel. The restaurant (200m from the hotel) was really good with a nice rooftop! But also crowded, it is better to make a reservation before 😊

United StatesThis hotel is ABSOLUTELY beautiful!! The decor is on another level. We stayed in 2 rooms and both were gorgeous. Some of the details are a bit outdated- namely the carpeting needs a major upgrade, but almost everything else is done so well. The bedding is very luxurious. The towel situation could be slightly improved- only 2 big towels were provided per room and no smaller hand or face towels- but not a big deal. The hotel smells amazing with bowls of fresh flowers throughout. Everything is spotless! The staff are so kind and very helpful. They want to ensure that you have a lovely stay. The sister hotel, which is a 5 min walk away, has an amazing rooftop restaurant called Peacock which is definitely worth a visit. The biggest issue we faced while staying here is during breakfast. The way it works is they take your order the day before with the time you want it- they serve breakfast in 15 min increments throughout the morning. 2 out of the 3 mornings our breakfast was delayed- 30 min the first day and 45 min the next day. For us it was nothing more than an inconvenience to get our day started later than planned but if we had tours scheduled or a train or plane to catch, it would have been a real problem. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat and truly hope to have the opportunity to do so again one day!!

United StatesNot really within walking distance of any attractions, so you have to take a tuk-tuk or taxi for any sightseeing. The smell of (fake) air fresheners in the lobby and hallways was a little overpowering. And just beware that there is a temple right across the street, and there was a lot of loud drum playing and bell ringing at various hours (including 6am). This was not a problem for me (added to the overall ambience), but maybe not ideal if you’re a light sleeper and/or don’t plan to get up early. All of these things are pretty minor, though, and don’t detract from my overall rating of 10.
I loved this place! Decor is beautiful. Excellent bathroom, with great shower pressure and hot water. Loved that the windows had screens so that I could let in the fresh air and not have to rely on AC. Breakfast was delicious, and I loved the option of having it brought to my room. Quiet, safe neighborhood. The Peacock Restaurant at the sister hotel a short walk away had delicious food and great ambience. Overall excellent value for money (for both the restaurant and hotel).
