Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IndiaEven though we selected no smoking rooms, there was cigarette smell coming from the AC vents. Since the AC is centralised, it looks like someone was smoking from a nearby room and it got mixed up.

IndiaTHere were hundreds of mosquitos and they were merrily biting all through our stay, in the lounge, and in the rooms. Also, no point is announcing arrival time, after giving the hotel an update, we arrived at noon, and they said no rooms till 2 pm. One room was given at 1 pm, and then they did not give the second one on the same floor by 2. We had to take a room on a diff floor, or were told to wait to 3 pm for the same floor. Further, the key cards do not work for any floor other than the one allotted to you, so it was difficult to move between floors.

IndiaApart from all the pros it is suggestion that while doing hotel business we should try to win the heart of costumer by doing small things like someone coming with a family and having a small baby then hotel staff should extend help best whatever they can for taking care of baby. For example we should not be much money minded that if costumer is asking milk for a baby then it may be given as complimentary. No need to send the milk and Khichdi along with costly invoice. People won’t have problem of paying bill of milk and Khichdi but you can impress a costumer while taking care of baby it would help you take your hotel again and again as Taj Hotel chain do. Costumer satisfaction should be on priority
