The breakfast was freshly cooked each morning. Traditional Kerelan breakfast. Unfortunately I require a Gluten free diet and this was provided. The Homestay was immaculately clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. My only issue was the last night as I could not get the A/C to work. The host and staff team were very attentive

Beautiful calm relaxing place with the best South Indian breakfasts. Rekha was so kind and helped me with lots of practical aspects of my trip. The Homestay was clean and peaceful with lots of stunning plants which symbolise the love and care that is part of the Nirvaan experience. I hope to come back!

Best accommodation, clean and nice, good beds and a balcony with evening sun. Finest and most loving host Rekha, where the kindness and care have no limits, she fixes everything with great warmth and love. Two wonderful sons, eldest son was so incredibly helpful and kind. The food was traditional from Kerala, cooked by the ever-smiling Renjini. Wonderful food with new and exciting strong flavors. The accommodation is located in a quiet spot just a few minutes walk from the cliff and beach. Will be coming back to this lovely family in November. Many thanks, highly recommended.

A fabulous family run homestay. The owners son was running the show (and doing an amazing job Mum :) while we stayed along with smiling chef Rejeenie who fed and watered us morning and night. The cleaner keeps the place spotless. A great team and a lovely homestay with great rooms. This is the kind of place we love to stop, where the staff have time to chat and have a laugh. The food was typical home style Keralan, cheap and plentiful. A very enjoyable 6 night stay. Highly recommend

This homestay was the best we've stayed in on this trip and others to India. The rooms and house are pristine with great facilities and in a very quiet location but within easy reach of Cliff Beach. We were extended a warm welcome great service and a tasty South Indian freshly prepared breakfast. The owner booked a tuk tuk to take us to a local store and a taxi for our onward journey. We would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed every bit of my experience there.

I have stayed in many places in India, some excellent, others not so much. Nirrvan, however, has truly surprised me. The fact that the owner lives on-site makes a huge difference. The location is close to the beach, and the property is impeccably clean. The room I stayed in was spacious, and all amenities worked flawlessly - from the AC and hot water to the Wi-Fi. My stay at Nirrvan was like a breath of fresh air after days of traveling. The option to have home-cooked breakfast and lunch, which they offer, is a delightful addition. The meals were not only convenient but also delicious. I am definitely planning to come back to Nirrvan in the future.

Absolutely amazing place in Varkala and one of the best homestays we’ve ever booked. The house is spacious with a beautiful garden, beautiful greenery, and just a 3 min walk to the cliff. The owner of the place was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She made us delicious typical South Indian breakfast every day and was super helpful with everything. Would recommend this place 10/10.

We loved our stay in Nirrvaan! Impeccably clean room, really comfortable and big bed. Modern bathroom with a great shower. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Delicious food and tea. The location is superb, within walking distance of everything Varkala has to offer. Very cozy, spacious and beautifully decorated room. Very peaceful and serene vibe in the house. Quiet at night. This is the best place we stayed in during our whole trip all around Kerala. We will definitely come back again.

We ended up staying a few days longer than plan largely due to this wonderful properly,incredible location and the amazing host. Rekha made you feel so comfortable in her home and was also was an amazing cook! The breakfast table was a lovely place to chat to other people staying and was very much a part of the friendly charm of the place. Literally a minute from 2 main walkways down to the beach, the start of all the restaurants and close to a great little shop which sells all the essentials, fruit and snacks. Rooms are all super clean, decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We Recommend really highly!

Loved absolutely everything about this property. Really lovely place with lovely staff. Each morning we would be treated to an amazing breakfast and chat with fellow guests. Had a really nice, warm, homely feel to the place and the location is perfect. Upstairs you have a covered terrace with exercise mats, fridge for guests and so on, and guests can use the kitchen as they please

Wonderful home stay. Very clean, spacious room with comfy large bed and lots of hot water in the shower. Slept so well. Very quiet in her home and surrounding area. Hostess is lovely and prides herself on everything you need. Excellent freshly made India breakfast and each day we were given different dishes. Would definitely stay again. Fining the property is easy face the Sanjays Hotel and to the left is an alley/path with black and red floor tiles … just follow it down and you will see the signs … very safe

Beautiful homestay with a room in a hotel standard. Ended up staying for 3 nights.The place was sparkling clean, lovely garden for our one year old daughter to play at. If you stay downstairs you can even leave via your private balcony gate, so there's also lots of privacy. Greca and Suja were extra attentive, helped us book a train ticket, cooked amazing and interesting local breakfasts and entertained our baby girl. Great place!

Nothing, everything was great.

This homestay is a gem. The whole house is beautifully built with wooden steps and wooden furniture. The decorations and plants add to the overall atmosphere make it very special and cozy. I really loved the bathroom, because it had a step between the shower area and the toilet, so the whole floor in the bathroom doesn’t get wet, when you shower. And the towels were the softest and best, we had during our whole India trip and several Homestays. The home cooked, traditional Kerala style breakfast, was delicious and the owner is very friendly. If we come back to Varkala, we’d really like to stay here again.

had to wait 30 mins for someone to arrive who knew how to use credit card machine. air conditioner stopped working and staff had to reset something to restart it. noisy construction next door.
