Nothing! All was good

Joe and his family were incredibly warm and helpful, from the food to help you book tours. On the first day, they introduced me to another family of guests went to see the elephants. They also helped me book a cab to take me to all the places. I was a bit sick at this point, so they made bland food for me. On top of this, the location is absolutely gorgeous, every room has a balcony with the most amazing mountain views, and It is very close to Munnar (about 30 min). The rooms were beautiful and impecable.

A number of folks mention the close proximity to the road. I will say, although I heard cars at times, I really didn’t notice it much at all. The property is so peaceful, and I got some of the best sleep I’ve ever had in my life.

Had an amazing 3-day stay with Joe and his incredible family at Mistletoe. Joe is the coolest and is so helpful with everything (preparing meals, booking rides and activities). The room is beautiful and super functional, and the views are truly stunning. Thanks for everything, Joe and family! Hope to see you again someday!

Everything. A fabulous retreat run by a most delightful family in the rolling hills near Munnar. The extensive menu for dinner was particularly impressive. I stayed and ate in the lovely dining room 3 nights and all dishes I had were superb. Many Vegan (I am not) choices available too. My room has spectacular views of the surrounding hills from a lovely balcony. Joe (the owner with his wife Jeena) was happy to advise and organise all activities you could require for your stay. A very interesting man and we had many greats chats during my stay.

Johnson’s hospitality and knowledge of India in all aspects was amazing and made our stay very interesting, the house and rooms are clean, beautiful and comfortable and the view from the rooms balcony is amazing. The tour in his fields was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing we didn't like!

Can't find anything negative to say about this place! Our host Joe and his family were very welcoming and hospitable, from the moment we arrived til the moment we left. The location is about 30 minutes from Munnar centre, which ended up being perfect as it was more quiet and there were so many birds on the property! The food was delicious with a wide array of cuisines available. Joe was able to help us arrange drivers for our excursions and also recommend things to do and places to see. Also arranged airport transfer for us. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent stay! We were a party of 7. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms had excellent hot showers. The room views were beautiful. We arrived late afternoon and Johnson kindly provided us with a variety of snacks on arrival. We were lucky enough to see their vegetable field, where they grow their own fruit and vegetables used in their authentic dishes. Would highly recommend the walk down to the local river. He helped organise safari jeep tour and taxis. The food was delicious and all was homemade, would highly recommend having dinner here, especially trying the bitter gourd dish. We also v much enjoyed playing Subuteo/tabletop football. Overall fantastic.

The view in the morning was breathtaking. Joe the host and his family were a delight, we have made very special memories at Mistletoe. The food was delicious, my finicky children ate well. We would love to go back again hopefully soon. Thanks Joe!!

Beautiful location looking out towards the Munnar hills and tea fields. The rooms were extremely comfortable - each part of the decor and amenities was well-thought and lovely. Staffing was excellent, we were immediately taken in by the family atmosphere.
