Mango villa is super well located just a few minutes walk from the cliff and the beach in a very calm side street. The room was spacious and very clean. Damini was very friendly and welcoming, I had a lovely stay !

Rooms were spacious, clean and quite. Hosts (Damini and Anmol) were very polite and helpful to us. They can arrange rental scooter also if you ask them!! And will guide you the best places to explore in varkala.They made us feel comfortable! And arranged all the necessary things. Rooms were very close the beach,so it easy to access!best room for budget!! And good hearted service!

Lovely home amongst beautiful mango trees back from the main hustle and bustle. Simple but effective facilities, working air conditioning, filtered water provided, very lovely and helpful host who gave us local tips as well as tips for our further travels of India.

Gorgeous room with a lovely and spacious balcony. Good location for getting to the main strip on the north cliffs and nice and quiet at night. The hosts were also super helpful and friendly. A great base for exploring Varkala.

International visitors can only pay with cash. Means you have to carry a lot of extra money - would be better if card was accepted or they took money via booking.com when booking. As other reviews have mentioned, bedding consists of a bedsheet and then a heavy blanket - something lighter would be good for the heat.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at Mango Villa. It is run by a brother and sister duo from Delhi since the last year. The room is spacious and had a very comfortable bed + pillows. Bathroom soap, towel, loo roll and shampoo is provided. I was always able to get hot water whenever I wanted it. Hosts are very helpful with providing restaurant recommendations and also helping arrange transport around Varkala. Really good wifi throughout propert with multiple routers in place. My room had A/C but perhaps not every room does as I couldn't tell from the photos but a quick message to them confirmed in advance my room would have it. The location is also perfect - 5-10 mins walk to the beginning of the north cliff face where all the cafes and views are but enough distance away that the loud late night music doesn't reach you as it does with other accommodation closer to the cliff. Balcony is ideal to dry towel and clothes out on.

Damini and Anmol were excellent hosts. The property was clean and in a very good location with fast access to the beach and at the same time quiet and perfect for having a good night of sleep. Breakfast is available upon request.

This was a great stay. Damini the host made me feel very welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. WiFi was good, the room was clean the bed comfortable. It’s just a few minutes walk to the cliff and Verkala beach so great location.

No hot water. Even though the climate was warm, at night after taking a dip in the sea, you need hot water to take bath. That really needs to be fixed. We did raise our concern... Side tables - We missed small side tables to keep our stuff like medicine, water bottle, specs, mobile phone by our head side. we had to keep everything on the floor. we tried using the center table from outside sit-out area but not convenient..

This was my first experience in a homestay / villa. The location is excellent. just 3 mins walk from the cliff. It saves you from the hustle bustle of the cliff without any compromise on the proximity. Property has good vibes. there were many adjoining homestays but this one had very positive energy. Hosts Damini and Anmol are very good. Helpful and informative. Rooms was absolutely clean and daily cleaning can be arranged. Room was big and spacious. Outside sitout area looks cool. We didnt try their meals but just had aloo paranths packed when we were leaving. They were Awesome!! we shud have tried more food items there. they are prompt in responding to any communication. They have recently acquired this property and i wish them good luck!
